For some reason I can't get AGP fastwrites to enable on my V7700 (on an ABit KT7 with AGP fastwrites enabled in the bios), has anybody had the same trouble?

I can't seem to get digital CD audio working with my Pioneer DVD drive under Win98, it worked fine under Win2k and I thought it was a very cool feature but now I'm with Win98 I can't enable it (box is greyed out). Any help? Thanks

Hi, I recently installed WinME on my 3 home computers, and I am having trouble with the file search part of it, but only on one computer, it doesn't work for some reason, I can type in the name of a file, but when I click the "search" button, nothing happens, computer search works fine though. Any ideas anyone? Thanks

I recently upgraded my system to a Thunderbird 750, KT7 RAID and a ASUS V7700, but I am having real trouble getting Win2k to be stable with the latest drivers (6.31), as in 3d mark will crash within 5 minutes. I have seen other people saying the same thing but I have been unable to find a solution. I have tried disabling AGP 4x, installing the latest VIA 4in1, installing service pack 1, resetting the bios to defaults, turning off sideband addressing and fast writes, but no go, any ideas? I have an ATA100 hard drive so I want to keep the RAID controller enabled. Thanks.

Hey, I have a HP 7570i CDR and I had a hell of a lot of trouble getting it going, anytime I'd write a cd I got 2 seconds worth of usable audio then hissing for the rest of the cd. But today I found that the guys that make Nero have released an aspi driver that works I've written 2 cds today that work fine so check it out www.nero.com [This message has been edited by DJ (edited 27 May 2000).]

Okay, this is my one little problem with Win2k (other than no Banshee drivers that work properly), I can't get UDMA working! I have a board based on the ALi 1531/33 chipset with a M5229 Bus Mastering IDE controller. Its a bad motherboard (made by PC Chips), UDMA works fine under Win98 (1 - 6% cpu usage) but under Win2k I get between 75 - 96% cpu usage (using CLiBench). I've tried different drivers (the win98 and win nt ones) and nothing works, help? Thanks, Daniel
