you should really try this codec pack out: http://nimo.everwicked.com

personally, i use "The Bat!" http://www.ritlabs.com/the_bat/ it's not free though, but it's worth it! very compact - 2.4Mb installation, and very powerful also check out "Foxmail" http://fox.foxmail.com.cn/english.htm i haven't used it myself, but it looks similar to "The Bat!", and is quite popular, and i believe it's freeware

audio codec problem - some Divx AVI's play without sound
polarcat replied to violent's topic in Software
Try installing Nimo Codec Pack: http://nimo.everwicked.com During setup unselect everything else, except: DivX ;-) Audio and Windows Media Audio Codec. This should do the trick, and ususally about any sort of DivX problems its better to use doom9 forums: http://doom9.org -

this particular site uses "real audio" streams, there are some recorders available: http://mcirecorder.51.net http://www.highcriteria.com/productfr.htm#prod_TR i'm not sure if you will be able to capture pure real audio streams from this site, but you can sure record these streams, even using default "sound recorder" utility which comes with Windows, you only need to adjust you source of recording in your Windows sound settings

Yes this will probably happen, as it is a hacked program. So get the "Lite" version before it is banned, at least they won't be able to restrict the use of its P2P newtwok to "Lite" users.

there's "Lite" version of KaZaA: http://www.kazaalite.tk compared to original KaZaA: - No Adware - No Spyware - No banners - No bitratelimit for mp3 files - No irritating websites loaded into KaZaA - No BDE Viewer - No Bonzi Buddy

I've been using Servant Salamander for a couple of years now, great interface, and generous use of system resources. IMO the best thing since Norton Commander and FAR Manager! http://www.altap.cz/index.html

my guess, and experience as well, that 5.5 doesn't always work correctly in all the cases, i.e with certain sites, so 5.01 is there for the rock stability.... i guess
