Thanks for the help. DMA helps quite a bit but i still don't know where the other options are. The main one is Synch Data Transfer from win98 which doubles your cdrom performance. THere wer also a couple other check box options that I can't find in 2k. Thanks again for you help.

Where are the advanced cdrom options in win2k? I am talking about the DMA and synch drive options that were available in win98 by going to the drive properties through device manager. They aren't anywhere in device manager/drive properties in win2k, but I have seen posts about people enabling DMA so they have to be somewhere. WHERE? Thanks a lot.

Has anyone been able to get the flyvideo 98 FM TV Tuner drivers to install in win2k. Lifeview has released w2k drivers but they won't install. Win2k refuses to accept them and I don't know why? A little help here!

I own a Lifeview Flyvideo 98 FM TV Tuner Card and It works great under Win98. There are Win 2k drivers available on Lifeview's website. The Hardware Compatibility list said you could get the drivers there but nobody obviously tried them. I can't get Win 2k to accept the drivers. It just *****es about not wanting to install those drivers and that It can't find them although that is definately a pile of **** that Win2k is giving me. I've tried them on multiple versions and releases of Win2k and they all do the same thing. How about a little help. How could Win2k not accept drivers written specifically for Win2k?
