    MS Sidewinder Gamepad trouble?

Hi all, I have a MS Sidewinder Gamepad (regular). It comes with a Win95 drivers CD. It works in Win98, but not in Win2k. The compatibility lists on the main page list the Sidewinder as being Win2k compatible, but when I try to install it, it says the drivers won't work because it's for Win95 and won't let me continue. Anyone have suggestions/solutions? Thanks ;P - DA

    HP 7200e really works??

Hiyas, I saw on the main page that the HP 7200e CD-Writer drive works with Win2k using the latest shuttletech drivers. That made me pretty happy as I thought I could get rid of Win98 (which I use for burning CDs only). Then I checked the HP website and they say the 7200e will not work for Win2k Server Editions. Which pisses me off. So I'm just curious if anyone knows if the 7200e CD-Writer will work under Win2k Server (which I'm using) and if so, do I need anything besides the updated shuttletech drivers and the drivers out of the box? - A P.S. I know I need a new CD-RW. No need to suggest that
  3. Greets all, I have two HDs on my PC. My 2nd HD is storage for things like mp3s, games, etc. I'm currently going to reformat my C: drive and install Win98SE on a FAT32 partition (which is the same partition as the D drive). After that, I'd like to install Win2k Server in a dual boot setup. I don't know much about NTFS, so I'm unsure of what the best option is to do. Would Win2k under NTFS be able to "see" and "use" files/folders/apps on my FAT32 drives (ie, my D drive)? I hear that FAT32 can't "see" NTFS, but is the reverse possible? I was hoping to get NTFS security while being able to utilize all my files on my D drive (where I backed up a lot of stuff like favorites, buddy lists, old email, etc). Thanks Anhur
