Nope Glide... i played Everquest all night with it last night.. main video card is a Riva 128 which has no D3d support in Win2k or Xp.. Glide looks very good too.. matter of fact it looked alot better in Xp than it did in 2k or 9x

hehe its true.. I have a voodoo 2 card that glide works perfectly under XP 2600.. my damn V3 3500 wont however... The old beta win2k drivers work fine Rok

I have a Iwill VD133 motherboard, but it seems abit slow in games, and it also randomly causes resets, and lock ups just during normal usage.. any ideas? Rok

Im currently using a Cel300A@450, but i think its about at the end of its time..and AMD processors are down in price now i can buy a k7-600 and a SD-11 for $335 in my area.. i do have concerns though: Win 2000 support how good/bad is it? I've used a K6-2 300 a while back, and the AP driver/busmasterting was always a hassle..is it still as bad as it used to be? How is performance compared buy a Same Clock P3? Anybody use this board? iF so have you encountered any problems with it under win2000? Upgrading from a 3dfx banshee to a TNT cannot get the TNT drivers from creative to install properly..does this have to do with the ALI chipset on the motherboard? any help appreciated Rok

The EAX really distorts the sound im using a DE775 Sony Dolby Digital Reciever and $500 a pair Cerwin Vega Front speakers and JBL Pro Refrence series Center and Surround speakers..i dont need a subwoofer becuase of the 15" drivers up front...it completely rocks for DVD, CD and VHS but trying to ply everquest makes me want to puke hehe..the PCI 128 is damn near a perfect match except that it doesnt have any SPDIF jacks or Optical Input from my DVD drive More than likely ill take it back..as my PCI128 sounds better when i need it to sound better Rok

Which is the best? Ive heard of an ASUS card. I currently have a V3 3500TV..but it crashes the VideoStudio after doing a mpeg over 20 minutes..most of my captures are 30mins to 2 hours... Any other ideas? Rok

My use of SBLIVE or SBPCI128: 1)Games 2)MP3s 3)Output to my Dolby Prologic reciever till i get my Dolby Digital reciever (DVD decoder has SPDIF output) Sound from the Live is really horrible for playing movies..add eax and its down right disgusting!! Just my opinion Rok

Hmm not sure why somebody would tell you that.. S-VIDEO is MUCH better display than Composite.. but harder to find components to use... Not many people have a SVIDEO capable TV or VCR..but if you do USE IT..SVIDEO is digital signal as compared to Composite's ANALOG signal.. However if you buy a cheap SVIDEO cable you might be looking at a Composite signal =) Hope this helps Rok

Hi all, Ive been using a SBLIVE XGamer for about 2 weeks now..im not impressed..EAX is not worth it if you only have 3 speakers (2 satellites 1 Sub) if you have the room for 4 speakers go for it... My DVD Decoder card has SPDIF output that i USE to go to my Dolby Digital Stereo... I think ill just go back to my SB PCI128.. Any thoughts..ideas? Rok
