One more thing. I have made a backup of the boot.ini and some other files on root directory before formating. Is it enough to copy these files back to C: partition ?

Hm, I have only made boot disks (via "Make boot disk" program on Win2000 CD - it made four boot disks). I wonder, if I can repair boot menu with these disks or I have to make ERD's like you said ? Anyway, thank you for your "hard work" replaying this post.

Well, I had Win98 on C: partition and Win2000 on d: partition. I formated C: partition and reinstalling Win98 on it. The D: partition is like it was. How can I tell the computer to show me the boot menu at the start?

Where can I find program, which will tell me RAM specification (PC100 or PC133, 8ns or 7,5ns, vendor,...).

Can someone tell me, where to find a shareware program to make an image of the disk(partition) in NTFS format?

Have anyone tried fresh new (released 01.06.2K) 5.16D beta 5 drivers found on ASUS web side?

Just tell me what version for Win 2000 and for Win 98 ? Thank you.

Well, I have installed Win2000 on clean partition and have no problem dual booting with Win 98. Few days ago, my friend has done the same thing, but when booting computer there is no start up screen where you can choose which system to run. Can someone tell me where start-up chooser can be enabled or how to repair it? What is your boot.ini looks like ?

Well, just like you said, only system drivers found on Win 2000 CD are available for Epson Stylus Color 600. That means no extra utilities and diagnostics tools. I doubt that there will be released any new drivers by Epson for this model.

SHS: Can you explain what these commands actually do?
