i see games now that are marked designed on nVidia to be played on nVidia i also still see post on lots of board with varios games producing blank or garbled screens when using ATI so I don't think you can say 100% that ATIs driver issues are over and done. All companys have some problems nVidia just has a lot less kinda like Intel. The big machines are where they are at for a reason. MS NVIDIA and INTEL kick ass and they raise the bar for the industry. ATI is reminding me a lot of AMD right now. Also ATI's new cards don't meet AGP spec what kinda shit is that?

nope all working fine hear. I did not notice a decrease in video quality on my machine here but i only ran a couple of timedemos and played a round of q3. I am not much of a gammer anymore due to lack of time.

i just set up an external scsi raid drive for my system page file and my photoshop scratch disks today and so far it is kickin ass. The raid drive is an all in one unit intended for video editing but since it is only 32 gigs and I allready have a 150 gig internal raid array dedicated as a video drive I just use it for paging and scratch. I am wondering if there is anything else i can do with it cause i am using like 2 gigs out of 32 seems kinda wasteful. But then again i have 330 gigs total in my system now so it is not like I really need to use that space.

you don't have to do it like that it is a pain int the ass that way i have all my hardware in at once when install works fine

so if it is working now why not upgrade to sp3 and if it doesn't work then uninstall it or something

yea i was watching lindows closely for a while it sounded very pormising then about 2 months ago it started to go really sour.

isn't there like something that all of us smart pc savy dudes can do to like fuk these people up? Like blocking it or getting rid of it is one thing, but what about some sort of counter attack? We should set up some sort of DOS attack on the sorce of this gator crap.

what did you get with the 30 whatever drivers?

perhaps you should try the newest drivers 40 something they are on nvidia's site

thanks bud i just clean installed .NET RC1 and i have been using the 30 someting drivers I will give the new ones a shot and see if they are any better/worse
