I got my SCA adaptor today and my LVD cable with terminator. I hooked the end of the cable opposite the terminator to scsi chanel a on the motherboard and hooked the last connector before the terminator to the sca adaptor and hooked the sca adaptor to the hard drive. I hooked the power to the sca adaptor and booted the computer. the drive powers up but it is not recognised by the scsi bios. what should i do to get this thing working?

i tried to force it to se mode but the systme fails to post when i do that. it gets to the part just b4 scaning for scsi devices and then it hangs. I also tried hooking it up with a 50 pin cable. it will post fine that way but it still doesn't detect the drive.

i don't have any problems with my 370 whatsoever using the newest drivers and bios b4 that i used the 1.03b drivers and bios

You can get the most up to date version directly from my computer at http://kindbuds.dns2go.com:81/420Theme-Beta1.zip but my computer is not allway running so it may not work sometimes. I just added a new login screen to the zip file.

ZoSo check out some of the other souns in that folder. I have only incorporated a couple of them. and not all of them are keepers. if anyone has any funny sounds that relate to this skin or just cool/funny sound please send them to me. Same goes for icons, cursors, wallpapers.

get nav 7.6 ce just got it and it works great

Just got NAV 7.6 CE works perfectly as it should does not cause the system to pause at all. that is what i like to see

with a little help from eddie (who figured out how to make native skins for xp) i am well on my way to having beta 1 of my 420 windows xp skin

win cpuid says that fastwrites and sid band addressing are supported but disabled how do i enable these features?

get NAV 7.6 Corporate. that is xp compatible. NAV 7.51 corp was nice but it does't seem to work with the final build of xp. (i guess they disabled it so that you gotta get the new program. pisses me off tho cause it worked in all the xp betas)

That is often a cause of weird issues. if you have more than one stick of mem you can take one out test the comp. if it works ok the stick you took our was bad if not try the other stick. if that doesn't work try taking out pci cards.

what model sound blaster is it need more info all hardware/driver versions

DELL support is great in the states also (although i don't think that they will support mine anymore due to the fact that the only original parts are cdrom,zip,NIC and case)

so i set all the settings in the geforce tweak util back to the system defaults then uninstalled it and now i only get 26 fps in quake 3 all the time. WTF that pisses me off. a lot. o well going to reinstall when i get the parts to hook up my scsi drive this week so that will fix it but that just fukin suck that the util left something behind/didn't fix the settings like that. i think next time i'll just leave it alone. runs damn fast if you just install xp with 22.5 driver and install the games and play em.

i am guessing it woukd run but at around 900 mhz due ti the slower fsb but you may be able to increase the multiplier to make it run at full speed
