2481 is really good i have been running it for like a couple days now. I hope that they get IIS working again for RC1.

search for daemon tools it lets u mount an iso as an cdrom. actully eddie why don't you just grab it off my ftp

i had problems with shitty mp3 play until i ditched the ntbuild hard disk controllers and downloaded the new ones from abit

2475 works great here except IIS seems to be broken

i have windowblinds xp which allows you to use any windowblinds skin in xp. It works very well no noticable performance hit.

You need the winxp skinning tool by stardock. I have been using it for about a week now and it is sweet. You can use all the window blinds skins of which there are about 1200 available for free download. Then once you have that you need builder blinds if you want to be able to make your own skins. I am still looking for builder blinds. I am considering buying object desktop from stardock cause then i would have all those proggies and a year of updates.

yeah i hate that "feature" sometimes ms ****s it all up by making it 2 safe and 2 "easy." The message that comes up should say: "This exe could funk your sh1t up so don't click the open button unless you are damn sure that you want to run this program."

Well I would just turn the page file off except that Photoshop gets all pissed off about it. The reason that I want my page file in the ram is cuz I have a shitload of ram and i don't see any reason why my system should need to page at all. The problem is that windows writes **** to the page file way before you even get close to running out of ram. Well i don't use all the ram I have so I was thinkin make a 50 meg ram disk and slap the pagefile in there. The problem is that ram disk nt seems to be only partially compatible with win xp. The drive that I set up doesn't show up in explorer but I can put my pagefile in it. The thing is if I put the pagefile in this semi existent drive win xp fails to boot which kind of sucks.

well it really depends on what type of controller you have like if it is an add on card or and additional set of controllers on your mobo then it usually sees the drives as scsi devices which removes the bandwith limitation. However if you have an ATA100 controller that is a primary controler on the mobo (integrated into the north bridge) then you need a hot fix for win 2k to get ata mode 5 enabled. Win XP has all the sp2 bug fixes and add ons built right in including native support for ata mode 5.

ok post your email and I will send you the .scr file then post back with what ever dll you need to run it and I will send you that also. I have win2k and I could go run it to figure out which dll you need but I am not going to waste my time on something so frivolous.
