the thought of actually buying a piece of software passes through For and Twenty's head, Four and Twenty immediately burst out in an uncontrollable rage of laughter thinking about some of the 80 some full version programs, games, operating systems and 40 some divx movies and 17 gb of mp3s all totaling about 64 gb of illegal stuff. I love the Internet. Also I was able to get a lot of this stuff using my trusty old 56k modem.

well eddie when you get your copy of office xp you can use the easy training program that it offers which I found far less painless than the dragon traing program. You gotta love WAR3Z i love having apps months before they are released in stores.

if you use this html you can view your hotmail inbox in a local inbox. you can change the folder parameter from //Hotmail/Inbox to say Inbox to view your local inbox. It is kind of a cool thing that i stumbled on i don't know how useful it really is except that you can have a html file that calls a specific location from outlook. <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.0 Transitional//EN"> <HTML><HEAD> <META http-equiv=Content-Type content="Text/HTML; charset=unicode"> <META content="Microsoft FrontPage 5.0" name=GENERATOR></HEAD> <BODY bottomMargin=0 leftMargin=0 topMargin=0 scroll=no rightMargin=0><SPAN id=ControlBox height="100%" width="100%"><!--Begin View Control Section--> <OBJECT id=ViewCtl1 height="100%" width="100%" classid=CLSID:0006F063-0000-0000-C000-000000000046><PARAM NAME="Folder" VALUE="\\Hotmail\Inbox"><PARAM NAME="EnableRowPersistance" VALUE="True"></OBJECT><!--End View Control Section--></SPAN></BODY></HTML>

You should have an easy time of upgrading tho cause toshiba suports win2k very well unlike some other companies. If toshiba's website says that it needs no additional drivers then you probly woln't. [This message has been edited by Four and Twenty (edited 19 March 2001).]

the workaround for ME is to type setup /nm at the dos prompt when setting it up. I have installed Win ME on a computer with 12 megs of ram. But at any rate i don't think that will help here cause it is only to get around the min requirement not the max limit.

cause it looks cool -
yes my performance in xp since 2428 has been better than the same hardware under win me or win2k. I use the latest official release dets (ver 6.5 i think) and i also make an additional user to play games with that has all the pretty graphics and other performace hoggin fetures turned off. Also it is a good idea to have plenty of ram if you are using xp i have 512 megs.

jd what you don't know is that eddie and i had talked before and i was just kinda kidding around. But you are still making pointless and even mean posts on this board. I just posted a reply to you whatever remark about some reg settings for acdsee and whistler it seems that you are back to your old ways again. besides the forum doesneed some jokes craked some sort of thing to make it just a little out of the ordinary. If this board was just about broken hardware and malfunctioning software i don't think that any of us would be here. It is like a comunity we have going here that is what makes it cool. Anyway enough rambling by me i need to get some food. anyway jd dont take offense to me calling you a shithead cause you were being one and you deserve to be called that. -
You are a sh1thead jd.
