I want to be able to copy a user and all user settings from a win 2k machine with pro or advanced server. Is there a utility for this?

So I am guessing that this is not possible? Since there has been no response.

I was wondering if there is any way to make a shortcut that would start my computer or my network places in explorer mode. Also is there somewhere that i could find a complete list of keyboard shortcuts for windows?

My vote is Nader. Bush sucks and Gore "invented the Internet." If i had to choose a processor right now I would most certianly choose a T-Bird. They are fast and cheap and they are good for more than just games. I built a computer on an Asus A7V with a 950 and it cranks auto cad 2k and photoshop. It has no stability problems in win 2k. So I would have to go with that. However I have a p3 right now and I am quite pleased with its performance. yeah I think the fact that I had a 2 mb internet connection last year at college makes my ****y modem situation really anoying but I will have fiber optic sh1t at my house soon so that will solve the problem.

I have 256megs of ram and i have my pagefile set at the windows recomended 382. Things are working on my system quite well. My friend has a computer has 768 megs of ram and windows recomends that his page file be set at like two gigs is that too much is there any problem with using a pagefile that size.

I have two cards in my machine and it worked great in whistler 2250 when I had it. I works great in 2000 and I don't have it set up in ME because i use win me only to play games. Oh yeah and I am able to use two separate refresh rates and resolutions. I had a G400 DH for a while and it was having the same problem that you guys are talking about. I have heard that it is a problem with the os and not the video card drivers. is the hard drive that you want to install to plugged into the ata 100 or the the other controler. If it is plugged into the ata 100 controler you must supply the promise drivers to it from the get go. the resolution thing shouldn't be a problem. i have used a 17 @ 1024/768 and a 15 @ 800/600 and i worked great. I am getting a new 19 inch flat samsung monitor next week which will be nice. Then my 17 incher will be the small one. imho putting windows 98 on a coputer is kinda like infecting it with the worst virus you could find. try useing the have disk option windows will never want to take the unsigned det drivers over its own crappy ass version.

I just got a couple of smr movies and a program and dll that is supposed to make them playable. Unfourtunalty when i try to play the movies it opens wmp 6.4 and then says that an unknown error has occured. Yeah I had neptune 5111 running along side of win 2k win me and wistler 2250 but neptune sucked ass and was as jdulmage said very buggy so i ended up deleting it. But it was cool to see just for the hell of it I guess. I had gotten it cause i saw screen shots of it on the winsupersite and the activity centers looked cool but i never found them i guess they were hidden in the os somewhere.
