I have a Pentium 2 400mhz, 128meg ram Aureal Vortex 2 SuperQuad Voodoo 3 3500TV with the latest (beta2) drivers. Some games work perfectly: Sims, Need for Speed 5, etc Some don't work at all: Rollcage 2, SoF Demo, etc But others are a little bit more confused I have Thief 2, and I installed without a glitch, and i started playing, I played for about 2 hours and then stopped, a few hours later again i loaded it up played and then stopped. Then i loaded it up a day later (note: i did not reboot) and after picking load game and going through the rutine, it kicked me out to the desktop when it started to load the game. so I tried a few things and nothing worked. little while later i tried again and this time it would crash as soon as i ran the exe. gonna go reboot now and see what that does (if anything).

I have a Voodoo3 3500 and it run smoothly for me. I've heard of a few tips that make it work correctly with a voodoo... Find the file "gimme.dll" and just rename it to something else, that might do the trick. also make sure you have the latest drivers (check out 3dfxgamers.com... they have a beta2 driver set up now i think)

Can anyone find a driver for this? It automatically installed in w2k, but the name is all screwed up (ie- wierd characters in the name and just a bunch of nonesense) and it uses a standard CD-ROM MS driver. It's a 4x CD-R drive.. I can't find any drivers anywhere.. if you can help, please do! btw-- the msg board censored the japanese name [This message has been edited by santa (edited 27 March 2000).] [This message has been edited by santa (edited 27 March 2000).]
