I have changed the regional settings in the control panel and in win xp(2465), I can install office 2000 swedish..it´s wary odd

I installed windows XP(2462) and everything works ok but when i connect to the net ie6 uses 95-100% of the cpu every time it loads a website....shall it do this or is it a bug? I can´t surf the net and do something else at the same time.....really enjoying

i used whistlers drivers but it semed to be the printers fault.....it was broken :-( but i can say that epson stylus color 580 usb don´t work i can´t install the win2000 drivers....if i use the setup it doesnt start and if i use the inf file through add printer...it seems to install to 99% but then it reports that the printer can´t be installed....

the same happens too me with epson stylus color 600 with whistler 2428

I installed whistler 2416 without any problems and i connected to internet without any problems but i can´t see anything on the webb pages....a webb page loads but nothing comes up on the screen....does anyone had this problem or know of the solution...i had too go back to win2kpro

Won´t it call the MS server every time I connect to the internet or will it call MS the first time I connect too the internet or will it only try too connect to MS server under the installation?

I have whistler 2410 and i can´t get it install.......i have disabled USB and PnP OS in BIOS, and choosed fail-safe defaults in BIOS.....but when the install comes too starting Windows Whistler it stops...i have let it be for 15min but nothing happens....i have tried installing from the harddrive and from the cd and a clean install and a upgarde from beta 1.....

The same happens too me....i install beta 1(2296) and when the os should start up for the first time it hangs....i use the restart button on the computer and then i can log on...and there are no problems what i know of

I´ve had that problem with whistler beta 1 and the problem was that when i had no sound on the trashbin a sound comes from the computer but when i enable a sound for the trashbin the sound from the computer goes away...........and also check all your sound properties because i had some trouble with them too and when i enable some and disable some the trashbin problem did goo away...

What antivirus can i use with whistler beta 1 or is´t that no one works yet. Are there any news on when such a product is coming too a beta stage or retail?

Inoculate It installs but have no real-time protection and AVP installs and have real-time protection.......just wanted people too know

i´ve tried too install norton antivirus 2000 and 2001 and 7.1 corporate edition. They start too install and when norton services is being installed the computer restarts. And when the computer is up again it tries too install the services again and the computer restarts. Why does this happen too me?

I like too play around with new os, sow i will upgrade but only if all my software works on the beta

the thing I don´t understand is that why it´s asking for the cd, I installed from the harddrive......why not ask for or just go too the place on my hardrive where whistler 2257 is

I have the same problem.........I read in the book "Practical windows 2000 professional" by Ed Bott that windows 2000 uses generic drivers called Default Monitor and Plug and play Monitor for all monitors.....and that in normal circumstances you should never need to install drivers for a monitor w2kpro tnt2 u with 5.30 drv creative labs encore drx3 wtih their w2k beta drv hauppauge wintv 256 mb ram PII 450
