I am wondering if anyone else is only getting black and white tv-out with thier leadtek geforce video card. I have tried multiple versions of the nvidia drivers both reference and the ones leadtek supplies and none of them work. Any help would be appreciated. ********************************************* P3 650 Tyan Tsunami mb 192 megs RAM Leadtek Geforce2 GTS 32 meg sblive

I am assuming that video card is a 2x agp card. The 865pe chipset only supports agp 4x and 8x so the 2x board will not work with the chipset.

The hardest thing is going to find a board now that still supports your processor. I assume it is a slot 1. Also, your problem was the same one I had with my old intel bx board with agp 1.0. Agp 1.0 support 1x and 2x, but like stated above does not give enough power to the card.

Tv in works on my v7700 deluxe. All I did was install the asus live utility which gives you the option to install the asus video capture driver. After that is worked fine.

Price of XP Pro? ......Hopefully not as much as Win2k Pro, L

All I have to say is that it is nice going to a university that has a deal with MS. I will be paying $5 for my copy of Windows XP, just as I paid $5 for my copy of Win2k, Win98se, WinMe...I guess I can't complain now, but it is going to hurt when I graduate and have to start paying full price for OS upgrades again. I do however agree with the fact that it is not rediculous to ask for more for a business OS, but anything over $150 for a retail full version of a consumer OS is pushing it. -
The reason all of those devices are sharing the same irq is because ACPI is enabled. This should not cause a problem because your computer will assign irqs when the device is needed, but if you are having problems you can try to disable ACPI.

I had a vipe 550 before I got my geforce2 and I have used all the reference drivers that have been out. The best way to do it is pick the driver yourself, then use the have disk option. You will probably get a message that says windows cannot determine if the drivers is correct for your card. As lond as you picked the tnt driver, just ignore it and install it anyways.

You need to get Norton Antivirus for Windows NT.

I have had the IRQ assignemnt problem before in win98 before I upgraded to win2k and had fully acpi compatible bios. The way you can attemp to solve this in your bios. Depending on the type of bios that you have you may have the option to manually set the irq for each pci/isa slot. I have a tyan board with AMI bios and I can do this. It worked for me. OF course now all of my cards appear to share the same irq due to acpi and everything functions great.
