LCD's are great for Text though regardless of the res a 9000 series ATI card will do fine Keep the monitor

Do you let the drivers install automatically at the client workstation or do you install a driver suite provided by the manufacturer? My HP won't work right with default drivers. I have to install it manually on XP to get it right.

I have the 9200 in my laptop and no the 3.8's do not work.

Are you using simple file sharing? DId the printer auto share itself?

it will run at the speed of the slower memory BUt it should work fine

Invest in some backup software like Drive IMage 2003 Make an backup of your hard drive and then downtime and resintalling will be easy

Are you using the same driver version in both OS's?

I have always believed in a complete format and reinstall when a nasty worn hits. Any other method and you just cant be sure

I use both Norton AV 2003 and Office 2003, but I disable the email scanning features on Norton AV, since it causes me problems as well. IN my case it hangs Outlook. Set a restore point, and try the Norton AV 2004 Trial version. I have a feeling it doesn't have the same issues.

That isn't right I have done a few network installs and it formats a fresh disk in NTFS. NOt sure what's causing this I am using Server 2003 though, been a while since I uses W2k

Make sure you have latest bios installed and try to disable any unsused ports like serial and parallel

PCCHIPS is the worst company ever They gave a new meaning to cheap systems

The worst I ever saw was PCCHIPS Socket 7 with onboard Lan Video Modem Sound Card Memory, thats right Memory. Came with 64 Welded on Was the biggest POS I ever worked on Top it of it was in a mini AT case with a CDROM that you couldnt boot with, nor had DOS drivers, and a floppy that would take only every other disk All this was brand new.

I use Drive Image 7 and it will work I use it to backup Server 2003 and windows XP
