It is possible that your ISP's DNS servers are forwarding requests Intermittently, giving you different results Try switching DNS server around to see if the secondary still gives you issues.
-
Make sure you apply SP1 for support for drives over 137GB I have heard can issues arise
-
You should be able to install Server 2003 with no problem Check MS HCL
-
Try setting up a RIS server if you can Try installing it that way. see if you get the same error.

Try restore first, then repair from CDROM -
I have used the Slipstreamed cd, and I use RIS for my installs and have no problem. Have you tried different workstations? Or sharing it on a different system? Even try a different share. I assume the shared folder is NTFS, and maybe permissions could be set wrong.
-
Have you tried it without the integrated SP1?
-
Are you sure your other Os isn't setting it?
-
Are all drives NTFS?

Is it worth converting W2003 Server for Workstation use?
sapiens74 replied to pmistry's topic in Slack Space
I get more software by beta testing, then I do by buying it. BUt for the most part folks pirate the software. Some of us though, Are legit, and either buy it or get it fro free, by legal means. -
Quote: the best method is just to use both. Raid won't help for file deletion, but the USB will. Raid 1 however will keep the system runing in case of failure/backup in one. For the price of hard drives now and mobo with raid builin, I would suggest anybody using their machine for any type of production use raid 1 and or 5. Raid can be pretty costly, and depending on the data which you are trying to protect, such as payroll for 100 employees, then you want to spend the money. BUt for a small business it may be overkill. Then Again I run raid just to get a few extra FPS out of RTCW ET

I can say well at least till HL2 comes out Halo is the best FPS ever! Worth the money, unless you have it on the XBOX and have overplayed it As for the PCI card, they make a FX5200 and a Radeon 9000 for PCI
-
You need a new video card You can pick up a nice Radeon 9000 for under 100 bucks

If you aren't using a pirated copy of it, then the cost alone should be a no go. Then again, if you stole it off Kazaa why not. -
USB2 is fine. I run raid and there is no need for it as long as you can backup and not have too much downtime with whatever solution you use.
