Stay away from AMD THe Dual Xeon is nice, I have one, and I would buy as much ram as possible. I would consider getting a Dell, the reason I say this is the warranty, and I got mine for under 700, althouhgh only 1 Xeon. You can add the second CPU, and ram yourself. That way you get a warranty, a nice case, and great support. Probably save you some money too.

IF you are honest when you submit the rma, they may ask you to pay. Ifyou do not tell them the reason they will replace it, free of charge

You got gremlins my friend Its most likely driver issue, that when you connect it again it will redetect and find it, and install the same driver as before.

I had this problem a while back. I had to switch the cables out. It would only read when it was by itself on the secondary IDE channel as master.

If you are getting those kinds of attacks, you need to speak with your ISP about filtering the traffic before it gets to you.

Have you tried uninstalling? It may need cleaning too. Make sure its recognized as dvd rom, with the correct regional settings Luck we live Hawai'i yeah?

Pull everything out of the system, cept hard ram, video. cpu hard drive and cdrom Disable all onboard ports Then try again

What chipset are you using?

I'd use an older driver and disable the nvidia driver service

Sound like a DOS attack if you are under constant attack. THat would cause them to time out. otherwise try something, like chaning ip addresses at both ends.

Any changed to your network? Like new hardware, firewall, anything like that?

Email Client / software that can................
sapiens74 replied to Mr.Guvernment's topic in Slack Space
Bro what you need is Help Desk software. I used to know a vendor that had a pretty good package that we used at my old job. It would take emails and make them help desk tickets, and whoever helped them would note it on the ticket, and they provided various options to on the status and such of the pending tickets. I'll research a little and let you know. -

I use 2003 Pro I really like it, although it is a real dog running in the background, so I don't have it on all the time.

THe radeon 9000 series of cards are a great buy. I hear some of the new FX cards are good as well. THe radeon seem to be more bank for the buck though

I had an issue with XP and mY radeon 7000 Card, the drivers provided by MS were faulty and would cause the system to crash
