IDE drives... RUNNING ON SCSI Adapters!

Serial interface will merge the two standards eventually. The adapter is a novelty and should be treated a such.

GeForce FX vs Radeon 9700 - your thoughts? - official thread

After reading the reviews today on TH, and some other sites, the GeforceFX looks as bland as you can get. I think I'll pass on this one. The noise of the fan is something to be concerned about as well. Looks like my rig will continue to get some ATI lovin'

    Super Bowl Commercials

SO what you guys think? I thought the movie trailers were kinda cool, at least the ones I want to see. THe Bud commercials were horrible. The Office linebacker, or the Fedex one making fun of Cast Away were the funniest IMO.

    Super Bowl Commercials

What a year for movies yeah? 2 MAtrix movies. the Hulk, T3, Lord of the Rings, Charlies angels 2, the Adam Sandler film, Xmen 2. Wow, and thats just the big ones, lots of others comign out too. I'm excited. If only hollywood could make movies and stay outta politics I wouldn't have this love hate thing with them. It would be only love

    Super Bowl Commercials

Quote: I thought the HULK movie preview was sad. 3 words, STOP USING CGI! I am a huge fan of the HULK but jeez make a movie where all the actors are CGI or none are not this Scooby Doo sh$t. Loved the Matrix previews. I agree. Thats the thing that turned me off about Spiderman. THey need to watch the Matrix and T3, to know how to do special effects. Anyways, Who would have thought Jack Nicolson and Adam Sandler together?

Radeon 9700 Pro and LCD monitors

If running Resolutions at higher refresh rates degrades performance, then will running the 9700 pro at 60HZ on a LCD run faster?

Radeon 9700 Pro and LCD monitors

I guess what I am asking is this: At 60hz the CRT looks awful compred to 60HZ on an LCD ON the CRT I get better performance with the lower refresh rate, but it looks awful Since I can Use 60HZ on the LCD, and it looks good, will the performace be better as opposed to 100hz on the CRT?
  17. Normally I don't show ads, but this was too good to pass up. I picked one up, and the cool thing is does dual inputs, so i can free up one monitor. http://www.rage3d.com/deals/ Second deal down.

  19. I just ordered a PowerEdge 1600SC from Dell It comes with 128MB ram and I need to order an extra 512MB ECC Registered Ram. Who should I order from? I was looking at Crucial. THey have a good deal on 512MB I need it for Stability and I'm going to test .net Server on it. Thanks.

Dell PowerEdge 1600SC and Registered DDR

YEah, I got dual SCSI so the drives will be mirrored. The Server is for a testing machine for my MCSA, so I won't have any critical data on it till I pass my tests.

    Will sanity prevail.....

You ever seen two brothers fight? My brother and I would grab the frist thing we could when fighting. It always got ugly. God Help the person that messed with him tho Anyways. Most of the Arab world wants him gone. THey just don't want Scud's comgin their way if he doesn't. He still has yet to account for tons of Bio, and chemical stuff the inspectors documented, and I think will be the nail in the coffin. I hope, I really do, that we avoid a war. IF we don't I hope we all pray for everyone involved, including the civilians who may lose their lives.

Dell PowerEdge 1600SC and Registered DDR

Well was gonna do crucial but they were offering free 2nd day shipping, but for some reason, there is a different 2nd day shipping for Hawaii they wanna charge me. SO I'll get the local ram. At least I can take it back providing something goes wrong.
