Have you tried to force the replication? or manually do it? Sometimes it needs a little extra push

Assuming their network has QOS capabilities. Verizon, tho, is good about keeping up with hardware. I have seen ISP's specifically limit users access to certain IP's and ports, like at some Universities, they block Kazaa being used in the dorms.

Some cool new features. http://130.89.87.86:88/public/kl200e.exe

I'm not sure you can throttle packets like that. Our boss used to block ports on certain IP's to keep us from using Napster, but slowing down I doubt they can do that, tho I may be wrong They could throttle your whole connection tho

Installing the 4 in 1 sets the whole thing in motion. Once thats done you can install all your other stuff, and it will work Windows 2000 Doesnt identify VIa chipsets correctly, whereas XP does. So telling Windows 2000 how to use the Via chipset, then those device drivers can properly interact with the OS -

If you are running a Via based chipset, then the default drivers in XP are stable. If you install Windows 2000 you need to do it in this order. Fresh Install Then INstall SP2 or 3 Then Install 4 in 1 Drivers Then Video Drivers Then Any other dirvers that are left. Then Try it. -

Norton AV 2003 is a resource Hog. I disabled the auto protection -
Use the Power tools, and tweak UI to re enable autoplay.

A lot to be gained if you use DDR instead of SDRAM. As to your other questions. THe PC133 setting is for the memory alone and not for the FSB. So at 100 or 133 the FSB will remain 400

The: What Computer Part did you buy this week thread

If they made a desktop board like a P4T533=c with 66MHZ PCI slots I would go with SCSI, but otherwise its a waste of money. Since I have no new computer parts worth mentioning I will tell you what I bought this month: 57" Sony Widescreen HDTV Sony Progressive Scan DVD Sony Reciever with Component Inputs, and Dolby Digital II Already had the Sony speakers with SUB. Got Digital cable, and Road Runner , with HDTV, and video on Demand. XBOX with HDTV pack. All hooked up with optical cables for audio and component HDTV cables as well. Anyways thats why I don't have a new 2.53 GHZ CPU and 512 MB more of ram -
I believe you can do it if you have 2 nic cards. One each going to thier repective connection. THen you bridge the connections in your network properties. You'll need a 3rd Nic to go to a router or hub to share the connection with other lan users

It's been fixed. But you need to run a software firewall just in case
-
Use the Windows 2000 Cd , and run the repair option. You may have to install drivers and Service packs again but it should fix the problem

I recently ordered a replacement cd for my Office XP pro. I finally got it in and they gave me a new key with it. What I don't understand, I used my old key to install it before I realized I had a new one. So now Do I have an extra Lisence?

Maybe so. I was hoping they were being generous, but oh well. Don't have a third machine anyway
