still doesnt answer my question. Will it come close to maxing out the card? I can almost max out my ata 100 raid now with 2 drives, maxtors at that

2 channel ata 133 raid card. 1 channel with 2 drives on it that only support ata 100. So that one channel at max can transer 100 mb per sec. whereas the other channel will have 1 drive on it, that can possibly do 50 mb on its own. So that's a total of about 150, not counting the fact that they are striped.

I jsut got past the part where you lead the base commander in the mines to open the doors. After dying the first time, I went ahead of him planted a remote bomb, then trip mines for the storm troop door. When he got close to the switch I was already a room apart and set the bomb off. that was funny as hell

I have seen this happen a couple of times, only in Windows 2000 tho. You need to delete the account, and the files in documents and settings, and recreate the account with a fellow admin account.

lets say for argument the p4 is about 50-100 bucks more then an AMD system. Is that 10-20 percent cost not worth the no-hassle of an INtel based system? Then again if cost is the main factor, why do most run Nvidia and not ATI. same reason, quality

remove all the extra pci devices and reset the bios. Let it reassign the IRQ's then add each device 1 at a time

I added it up, a p4 retail 1800 is only 20 bucks more then an athlon XP 1800 with a nice heatsink and thermal grease. at the higher end yeah they are more epensive. Then again AMD doesnt make a 2400 yet

take in consideration the money you get set back for the athlon xp, heat sink and a tube of artic silver, and that ram and mb are the same for both, it costs as mcuh or more for an athlon.

Even if your not overclocking its good to use with an athlon

Just ordered a Wd 120 GB w/8mb cache on it. I am replacing my old 40 GB. Can I copy that drive to the new one? Or do I have to Reinstall?

Tried it , but symantec says copying XP deosnt work right, cause of encrypption, and the windows activation

SO I i put 3 drives each capable of sustained rates of 50mb on thier own, in a 3 drive stripe, it won't max out the controller?
