I love Dells too, almost worked for them too. Anyway, I had to choose between the 8100 and 2715 and it came down to features, and also that I have anonther Compaq laptop so I can exchange stuff between the too. We've had to send 3 brande new Dells back in the last month, also had issues with the Docking stations and WIndows 2000

Asus P4B266 and a P4 1.8a wouldnt set you back too much, greatest board I ever owned

You'd have to give them PCI video cards just to be safe.

I guess it depemds on hwat makes you happy. Running an IT department, I would not be happy supporting AMD. Add that to pretty incompetant users and I'd have even more work to do, . In the IT department we need 100 percent stabilty. The AMD platform has never offered that.

I just got put in charge, with 3 other persons of our IT department for a fairly large company in Seattle, and surrounding areas. One of the decisons we have to make is on buying new PC's and I refuse to support anything other then Intel. Too many problems. As for the home user, if you have time to update bios' and drives all the time, and or never upgrade then AMD is the way to go

So far my picks are W3 or MOH, but a ton of games are coming out this year

IS there a way I can take a normal IDE CDRW and make it external USB 2.0 or Firewire? If so does anyone know a good place to get the kits?

ewl how the hero thing works. I made a paldain and really kicked some arese after he made a cpl levels

After it updated it doesnt do it now. Runs pretty smooth, im impressed how polished the game is.
