If you could Flame about something - what would it be?

Yet another topic *Disclaimer* This is not a topic about abortion per se, but about consistancy. PLease read. This latest court challenge to the "partial" birth abortion has me puzzled. That coupled with the fact the Scott Peterson is facing TWO charges of murder in Modesto California What I can't understand, is if it's a fetus, and can be aborted then why is it considered a baby when a woman who is "expecting" is murdered? If it is a fetus, as defined by the courts, then he should be charged with only ONE count of murder. Also a woman who is "expecting" should not be called a mother, because what she is carrying is not a child, at least not yet. She should be called a "host" untill the fetus has matured and is delivered. I would just like to know, why it's a fetus when a woman doesn't want it, and a "baby" when she wants to keep it I could care less either way, for I am pro choice, but I want consistancy in the law, and in the language we use. -

Ok here goes People who sit by without so much as a word and watch millions get slaughtered in Rwanda, Bosnia, Kosovo, Haiti, Iraq, Iran, China, and a million oher places, then protest against the war in Iraq. I'd like for once to see a protest to help mankind. How we can watch our fellow humans suffer and do nothing, then balk at something that doesn't fit our ideoolgy, puzzles me Then again humans are the only species that will fight when something cramps thier lifestyle. -

sapiens74 replied to TrakerJon's topic in Everything Linux
Thanks for the info, but I tried all that. The problem is I have to get Linux into the GUI so i can download the drivers, since I am running it in a virtual pc I find it hard to believe it doesn;t have a basic VGA driver just to get you by till you can configure your Video Card. -

Anyone know if there is a limit on how many times I can mirror the boot drive on Server 2003? What I am trying to do is have 3 hard drives with the later 2 being mirrors of the first.

Mirrored Volumes with multiple drives with Server 2003
sapiens74 replied to sapiens74's topic in Hardware
Mirror the mirror lol I figured it was 2 mirrors of the original boot volume This works really well btw. I tested a simulated hard drive failure, but the only thing that puzzled me was once I booted with the mirror, it would not boot again if I out the oringal disk as disk 1 I had to boot with the mirror then resync the drives with the original now as the mirror. -
A login scrpt runs a series of commands to setup things such as mapped network drives, or disks scans Usually Adminstrators use it to set parameters for users, or install software, or a variety of other thing.

You need to backup the files I would set it up as a dyanmic disk so you can resize when needed.

Answered my own question Gotta check that tab show processes from all users THe Nav options still wont work though, unless i log on locally
-
I tried using the Deafult Admin account as well and same thing, it wont even show it on the taskbar as running. Its only Nav, but the processes are only showing as 5 of them I have to logon locally to the machine. could it be that my XP machine isn't joined to the Domain?
-
I think what it may be is I need local admin rights on the server. Since the server does away with local acounts with it is promoted to a PDC, not sure what I can do
-
I need something just basic for just the server. Nothing fancy, and hopefully free Any ideas?

Can't afford Nav corp been trying to use 7.6 which I do have

I agree if you are tyring to get free stuff and are not a MS partner, who resells or consults on these products then you shouldn't be getting the Action Pack GOt mine in today, and they Included Office 2003, Server 2003, all flavors, and XP Pro w/SP1
