Yes, can you say SUCK IT EA!!!!!!! I can't believe that they still come out with games that don't work on Win2k. What a bunch of F*CKING MORONS. I'll bet the problems lies in the engine, in that they basically use the same engine and 99% of the code over and over again each year. And they're too F*CKING LAZY to make it work for win2k. THERES ABSOLUTELY NO F*CKING REASON why anything still have compatibility issues with win2k in 2001!!!! Ya...can you tell I'm pissed off? At least I didn't f8cking buy the damn thing. For anyone that actually pays money for this pos, and find out that it doesn't work on win2k, they deserve some sympathy.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the antialiase options doesn't do anything for the v3 right? Because the v3 doesn't support antialiase. Or is it a DirectX function?

So you're saying that the voodoo4/5 drivers will work for v3 series in win2k?

sounds promising. But where would I add the key? Could you give me the whole path in the registry where this key should be entered? Whats wierd is, for the past 2-3 days, my computer has been VERY UNSTABLE. I mean, it'll crash randomly about 2-3 times a day with BSODS. Yesterday, I remembered that I changed the size of the swap file to 200 - 800 from the original value of 400/400 that I've been using for a while, because when I used ADOBE Photoshop, it would crap telling me it ran out of swap file. Now, I changed it back to 400/400, and it hasn't crashed every since. I don't know if the problem is fix, maybe I'm just lucky that it hasn't crashed, but I don't know why the swap file would have anything to do with it. But, I'm definately going to have to format my C and reinstall win2k over the weekend, as its just becoming too unstable over the last week.

Since I switched over to Duron/KT7 Combo, I randomly get Locked Page BSODs. What is causing it? I'm pretty sure its not the ocing, I'm running 600 @ 900. Because when I switch it to 850, it still does the same thing. And changing the voltage doesn't matter either. What does Locked page mean? I'm thinking it means something to do with ram and its pages? I messed around with interleave in the bios too, and that didn't do anything. Any suggestion is welcome.

I found out what was causing the strobing effect. It wasn't vsync. It was enabling triple buffering in the advanced options. Wierd how it strobes. Oh well, off I go to play. Anyone play this at 1024 or higher "unsupported" res? Do you have any problems at that res?

When I have 3d acceleration turned on, I get strobing in the game. During the game, the whole screen would strobe, like a strobe light. When I turn it off, everything works fine. I'm using V2k on Win2k. Anyone else have this problem? or NOT have this problem?

I've been using outlook for a while. While similiar to outlook express, I find it very convenient with its PIM side as well. And being a MS product, it works seemlessly with Win2k. Heifetz

Preacher: Are you kidding me? Matrox is just as bad, if not worse than nVidia regarding drivers. I know a lot of people who bought a G200 that got burned because of the lack of drivers. I personally had to get a V2 even though I bought a G200 to play 3d games because G200 had no support what so ever. I don't think I'll ever buy another Matrox card again because of my G200 experience. They bring innovative products to the market place...sure...but over-priced and lack of support.

What exactly is Digital Cd Audio? I'm assuming that it plays cds digitally instead of using a DAC? But I have never really heard anything about this feature. I have a Plextor 40X Scsi Max and a Teac 6/24 CDR. Should I enable the digital feature? Heifetz

I'm having problems with the WDM drivers included with Win2k for my Live PCI512. The soundcard would just stop working after a while. I downloaded the liveware 2.0 for win2k, but it won't let me install it for my 512. I'm left with no choice other then trying to install the WDM drivers that came with the Dell Liveware. But its 90Megs! And Dell's ftp server doesn't resume. And my ISP disconnects me sporatically, so I'm not able to download the file. But I think that I really don't need the liveware...all I need is the WDM drivers that came with it. So if anyone has the WDM drivers (in the WDM directory), could you please email it to me at Heifetz7@hotmail.com? Please...I need help with this. Thanks Kevlar

Haha...I feel pretty dumb. What caused the error was actually just administrator privileges. You can't do chkdsk or use the window version of it if you don't have admin privileges. But from the error msg, you would have never guessed that this is the cause!

I just recently did a fresh install of Win2k Pro. I partition a Maxtor 40+ harddrive into two partitions, one being NTFS and the other Fat32. And I have another harddrive thats its own Fat32 partition. Win2k is installed in C:, the NTFS partition. When I go into explorer, right click on the drives, and try to check for errors, I get "Windows was unable to complete the disk check." And this is what I get for all 3 partitions! Its annoying me a little bit, because the msg is so vague and I have no idea whats causing it. Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks
