Hay you might want to try Hauppauges drivers. I have WinTVFMth I used 306 drivers. So I switched to wdm then installed avermedia "beta" and it works great for the wintv. Let me know..

I'm not sure if your are saying you can't get it to work but if you install the reg 3dfx 1.04 drivers or something like that, whistler will be in 4bit then install whistlers 3dfx drivers. Now go in dos or other OS and copy the files from driver2k(dll) but not 3DFXVSM.sys. I have 3dfx 3000pci on the other computer. So let me know. It works fine ,opengl , and glide.

Well I have used it (Wintv) since the frist and as of 2419 I have NEVER had a problem. I use 306 drivers.

I read on Betanews that Microsoft was looking into how IE6 was leaked. Yet I down loaded it from there FTP site. Was it not supposed to be there? I am not talking about *****.. Just kinda lost. Anyway it works great. I did what SHS said and the icons were there after reboot.. Thanks SHS..

Ok Windowblinds does not slow your system down unless you have a REAL slow computer. I have a P3 700 and it flys. Maybe you need to upgrade. You can buy Object Desktop and then you get all there (Stardock) great stuff for a Year. "Keep the Faith"

I swaped my SBlive for the Philips AE and if you read ANY of the the reviews $75 is cheap. Just buy the Santa Cruz and then buy the Philips and it will blow the otheres away. The 3d sound in games and then the DVD is wow. LOL to say the Philips drivers work worse if funny I have the SBlive 51 and the Philips works just wonderful not one problem in Win2k or whistler. I am sorry but, whats this, I heard this or I heard that crap try it your self....

Just go here. I have no idea but it did up date my Win2k drivers.

Howdy, I have the WinTV FM,TH. Works great in WinME, Win2k, WinWhistler. I don't do much capturing so other than that. I just bought a Philips (acoustic edge) sound card to replace SBlive card. OMG this card rocks I don't watch to much TV on the computer but man I heard sounds from the back speakers I never heard. Also Win2k boots way faster now.

Ok maybe stupid but do you have to install it over WinMe to get use the personal or over Win2k to get the Pro..

This might be a long way around the barn but it happened to me one time. I did the bootpart and it did not work so I fdisk /mbr and then installed win2k untill it frist reboots then my boot menu was back and just reset the timer for 3sec to 30 and deleted the temp files..

Sorry I found out on MS news groups. I forgot some (here) only have access to warez versions. I guess a lack of knowledge goes along way. What is really funny is the people that answer back and really know nothing at all lol..

Wow that's some EXPERT edvice. He knows his stuff. Just kiding . All most all have had more trouble with 2250 not 2257. Did you change the bios anyway or maybe added a new card? Something to look in to

Pre-beta..lol. The errors after install I think every one gets them, I did. Blue screens well could be somthing you installed after maybe. I installed Whistler on 2 dif computers and no lockups or blue screens yet. Maybe it is your copy. There should be a better beta in OCT.

Same here Asus Culs2 not ONE problem. Winme, Win2k, Whistler, linux.

What board (motherboard)do you have? I have never had a problem I just install w2kdrv306 and my WinTV TH with FM works great dont use FM. I always delete what it finds in the system properties then install w2kdrv306 and then do a Scan for hardware changes and it in stalls fine. I remember reading somewhere you can not use the onboard video it you are useing the apg. But you still try...

I have BH6 1.01 and flashed to SS and there was no proplems at all. Can you flash back?

I would have to agree with Draxar. Win2k is very stable and you should keep Win98 for those games that do not work in Win2k.
