So has anyone had a chance to test the final game yet? (preferably on something with a GeForce and SBLive card!) ;-) I've been waiting for this game for AGES but I wanna make sure it'll work first (don't care if its "not supported")

This is EXACTLY the same problem I'm having (see my Netscape 4.7 question a few posts down).....anyone have any ideas? Thanks in advance....

Hi all.. Quick question....how do you set up Win2k to automaticaly dial into your ISP whenever Netscape is started?. I've already made sure that the ISP details (username and password) is entered under Control Panel>Internet Options, and that its selected as "default" Also ensured that the option to "dial whenever a connection is not present" is selected, but I CANNOT get it to autodial. HOWEVER, it DOES work correctly if something like IE5 or Pegasus Mail is started. Any ideas? Using: DELL Dimension XPS T550 PIII 550Mhz 256MB RAM SB Live Value Creative GeForce DDR Win98/Win2k(Final) Dual-boot IE5 Netscape 4.7

Hi all, Just to let you know... I finally had enough of lockups in what I still consider to be the best operating system ever released by Microsoft so I reloaded it there last night The first time I reinstalled everything that used to work (stuff like Netscape 4.7, Norton AV 2000 etc) and the Nvidia 5.13 drivers BUT the system started to again lockup completely at random....as these drivers (and everything else I reinstalled) previously worked flawlessly on my system, I'm at a loss as to why I'm experiencing these problems now. However, I've since reloaded a second time and installed the official Nvidia 3.78 drivers for win2k and so far so good....I'll keep you posted!

My 2 cents.... I too am experiencing complete lockups in Win2k lately regardless of which application(s) I have open (which is a pity cause I was just getting used to being able to end-task the affected program without it crashing the system). This started to happen about the same time as I installed the Nvidia 5.14 drivers for my GeForce card, and having read through some of the posts here, I thought that was the problem so I went back to the 5.13 drivers (which worked flawlessly) BUT I'm STILL getiing lockups which force me to completely reboot the system. At this point I'm considering a reload (lucky I have the system dual-booted with Win98), but I'm open to any suggestions anyone else might have. My System: DELL Dimension XPS T550 PIII 550 256MB RAM Creative 32MB GeForce DDR Creative SBLive Value Toshiba DVD-ROM Sony CD-RW Maxtor 9.1GB & 12GB drives Win98/Win2k Pro Retail Dual-boot Netscape 4.7 Winamp 2.61 NortonAV 2000 Thanks in advance for any help.... Like many of the people here, I too am having intermittent lockup problems since installing the 5.14 drivers - doesn't matter what application I'm in or how long the system has been on for. I've tried going back to the 5.13 drivers (which worked flawlessly & which, on reflection, I shoulda stuck with!) but the system will STILL lock up, forcing me to reboot. My system: PIII 550 32MB Creative Labs GeForce DDR SBLive Value 256MB RAM Win98/Win2k Dual-boot Anybody got any ideas on this? I'm starting to think I might be better off reinstalling win2k at this stage (luckily I have it dual-booted with win98), but I'd appreciate any other ideas anyone may have. Also, as I'm fairly new to the WinNT/Win2k OS, can anyone tell me how to set up the "Last Configuration" option on the boot menu so it takes a snapshot every day/boot? Thanks in advance for any help....
