Under Win2K (using the HP's drivers)my HP Deskjet 840C prints only if the quality setting is at draft (worst quality, fast), any other setting and the printer rolls out a blank page. Under Win98 the printer has no problems at all... Any ideas ? Nimos

... tried them but it can't print colored photos or graphics (like the test page).It brings out a blank page Mine prints only plain text. Anyone else ? Nimos

Sorry... the drivers are not in the Win2K CD and the 840C is not listed in HP printer models... And what SOL means ?

The printer came with 2 disks one for Mac and one for Win98/NT... There isn't any Win2000 cd... Or drivers. HP site claims the Win2K drivers will be released Mid-March perhaps they are using a different calendar or something.

out of the box Win2K compatibility for the Deskjet 840C .... yeah right, no way to install the NT drivers and no Win2K drivers in the CD... Any way to get my 840C printer to work under Win2K ? Any ideas as to when the Win2K drivers will be ready ? Thanks !
