Yep I sure do have 1 arm. As Ronin said "I use it well", as I am very good in CS, Q3, UT, etc.

Ronin: did you happen to of attended the RDOG LAN Party? I was there too (remember the guy with one arm? That was me) and saw the guy with the blue console color. The command is concolor "0 0 0" first number is for the red, second for green, third is for blue.

Did you enable APM? If not goto Control Panel -> Power -> APM then check the box that says "Enable Advanced Power Management Support" That should do the trick. If not then I have no idea.

I had the same problem. Solution: Go into your Control Panel and Gaming Devices. Choose Add and select Microsoft Sidewinder and it will auto detect ur joystick and it actually works too.

Mine wouldn't give a BSOD, it would just reboot. It happened to me when I was using the computer. I think it is the setup that Win 2k is running on, because everytime it is doing a memory dump.
-
I had the same problem and never really figured it out. I checked the Event Log and had a debugging event or something that caused the computer to reboot.

You lost your D partition cause any 9x operating system can't read/write to NTFS partitions by default. You can recover it via fdisk I think. But if you are going to install Win 2k don't worry about it cause the setup will find it.

I've had 11 of the following errors happen and I want them to stop cause usually they happen at night and my dad gets mad. Event Type: Information Event Source: Save Dump Event Category: None Event ID: 1001 Date: 10/30/2000 Time: 11:18:54 PM User: N/A Computer: SERVER Description: The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck. The bugcheck was: 0x000000d1 (0x0118fdfa, 0x00000002, 0x00000000, 0xfef40455). Microsoft Windows 2000 [v15.2195]. A dump was saved in: C:\WINNT\Minidump\Mini103000-02.dmp. Machine is a P166 MMX with 32MB RAM. It's running (barely) Win2k Professional w/o SP1. Would SP1 fix this problem? The computer is only really used as a server machine to share my cable modem.

I have a Voodoo 3 2000 PCI and a crappy 15" monitor. Is there a program I can install that will set the resolution of different resolutions? I use a 1152x864 desktop resolution but 800x600 for games and if i use a 1152x864 desktop the 800x600 refresh rate is 60 hz when it should be 85 hz. Help?
-
My monitor is capable of doing 85hz at 800x600 but only about 60 hz in 1152x864 and Win 2k doesn't auto change the refresh rate.

I need to figure out how to get Roger Wilco working through my Win2k server. What I have done: 1) Gone into the ICS settings and added the settings for UDP port 3782-3783 and TCP port 3782. I can use Roger Wilco, can transmit and recieve but after like 10-15 minutes I can't recieve messages. Well I need to use RW for clan matches for CS and it is hard when it doesn't work. I have Roger Wilco setup to use the default port (3782) and did the settings above. <A HREF="http://"http://www.geocities.com/justin_b_69_2000/screen3.jpg"" TARGET=_blank>Here</A> is a screenshot of what I have done.

Ok here is some new info. If I stop talking on Roger Wilco for a little bit I can't hear anybody. If I say something then I can hear people again. I still can't hear everybody but...

I have the latest version of Roger Wilco. Mark I C or something like that.

I have a V3 and whenever I try to play a game the vertical and horizontal positioning is way off and if I correct it and go back to the desktop, the desktop position is way off. I have changed the monitor refresh rates and the monitor INF file and it hasn't helped. Please help!

Forgot to post this but my problem is solved. It was the refresh rate. I had it set too high for my monitor and it was only set at 60 hz. ****ty monitor huh?
