i don't have a gforce myself, but i work in a store and doeing the technical cervice, so i see a lot of computers and videocarts and also gforce carts i had a simular problem with several carts and i did it this way, so you know where the problem is

i got a V5 5500 and it works great but NOT with the original drivers! i use version 1.01 beta for windows 2000 and the voodootools out of version 1.04 and that works great the original drivers and also version 1.04 gives you errors in some games, 1 of the games is deltaforce LW 1 big problem, the drivers arn't anywhere (as far i know) avalible for downloading, if anyone want them, lat me know, i got them heheh

try to set you mobo bios to defaults most of the time that works, if it does, you know where your problem is good luck

Hi yeah, i run it to i got more than 1 firewall on it, also a good virusscanner on it for the upload also a trojan scanner for this set in you security to disable a account if enterd more then 3 times the wrong password so you know if there was somebody knokking check every day your logs and you also have to see, that who knows you are running this server not that manny people i think good luck with it

Are you talking about a WINNT4 server or not ? if not, it's good to upgrade to win 2000 if you are talking about a server, maybe it's better to leave it running on nt4 coz it runs mutch faster than 2000 on the same computer and also, the stability of nt4 is better then 2000 i use to run a winnt 4 server on a p 200 mmx and it runs faster then on my new server PIII 450 with 2000 server on it and there aren't running manny services on it onley security proxy and internet sharing for 3 pc's and a little file sharing and printer but all of this war also running on my nt4 server my workstation is running 2000 and that realy rocks i need the to run the 2000 server to learn and study it, coz i need it for my job, but if i didn't need it for that, i would be running nt4 server again hope you got something about this good luck

Chiantech works fine to, and is not expensive

bing when you want to boot from a scsi cd-rom, you have to make sure you set the bios to boot from scsi after that you have to go into the bios of your scsi cart and set there support cd-rom boot that's all, it works fine on my 29160 and my former 2930 u2 good luck

just set youre page file to the recomanded value and it works just fine :-)

I got that cart to go to gullemot.com download the latest drivers now you can use direct x on the cart at the moment you use win nt 4 drivers, not the win 2000 drivers the cart will work, but he can only use dx version 3

that's because you used win the win compatible you made the game think your system is a win 95/98 machine then you get the msvcrt error

Yeah LM i tested it and when i reset my pagefile size, he worked again i got 128mb of ram and have to use a page off max 400 mb or NFS 5 wount run anymore

remove 1 off your memmory dims, and see what happens good luck

if you have a win 2k server you can use microsoft proxy server it works very good for me never problems but it only runs on a server, not the pro

it is your scsi cart when you enter the blue screen, hit f6 to search fot other drivers, and insert the nt driverdisk for the cart i know it, coz i got a 2930 u2 myself and had the same problems good luck

mostly games example need for speed 5 (i know, it's just a game)
