Ho.. in here : http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/pro/using/howto/communicate/videoconf.asp it says (last sentence): If you are on a local area network behind a firewall (for example, a corporate network), you can talk to someone who is behind the same firewall that you are, but you may not be able to connect on a computer–to–computer call with someone outside the firewall. I don' t belive it, there should be a way to configure this trough a firewall..

I don' t know about norton personal firewall 2002, but I use zone alarm pro and I can set up any program either to get server or client connections to go through the firewall easily I'm sure there is a way to set up norton firewall this way...

HMmmm It does work on my box with a Geforce 1. Slow but it works.. Check your unreal.ini file to change rez and so on.. As for the engine, all that I saw (I know it' s an alpha..) is exactly the same as unreal.. nothing new...

hmmm I THINK you need a chip that does transform and lighting. All the geforces.. but unfortunatly not the tnts.. I saw somewhere that Unreal 2 was only going to be working on T/L chips. A tnt2 friend of mine can 't get it to work either.. If someone can maybe comfirm this.. good luck.

-For the task switcher: install, LOGOUT, alt+tab and you will see the difference. -Shell player: right click on the task bar>toolbars>audioplayer. IE toolbar: after install, restart IE, right click on IE' s toolbar>add. DOS prompt: right click in explorer on a folder> open cammand window here. Calc in start menu. app to resize pics: right click on the pics> rezise. User switcher: windows key+Q to switch user..buggy on my machine (RC1). add/remove programs to uninstall. hope that helps...

yes it is nice .. they sould have put a remove all botton in the remove option. Haven ' t tried the alt tab thingie yet.. I like the resize pics option.. wish there could be more otions for the file sizes..

What you can do: - Create a 98 or ME boot disk. (You can download some boot disks off some websites). -Get smartdrive from: http://xp.xyu.ca/winxp/smartdrv.zip Unzip it , copy it on the boot disks. -to start instalation: If you have different partitions on your disks, (in windows), copy the i386 dir on a DIFFERENT partition than your boot drive. Once you have done this, boot with the boot disks, (without cd rom support, faster). Run smartdrive. go in the i386 dir --> winnt enjoy the fast file copying. Hope this helps.

Yes but it seems to work as a skin.. I know you change these settings in the color scheme menu but when you look closely to the chrome one you can see some differences, not only in color but also in design. anyway... not very important is it ?

I ll wait util RC1 is released to install on my machine.. I got bored of reinstalling every 2 months like i did with win2k beta. The new features seem nice but the way the new interface is managed seems a bit cheap.

Hi, Can someone please post a screenshot of the taskbar (draged to the right to be vetical)with the start icon on the top right. I like using the taskbar on the right and I wonder how the skin reacts with this configuration. Is it also possible to skin the menu background in win explorer for example?. Thanks in advance.

Everything seems to be working fine for me appart from the sims. I can t get into the game..

I m sorry this is not very clear, but I would like to see all my disk drives when I open windows explorer and not have to click once on "my computer" to be able to see them .. Thanks for the help, Cheers..
