Have you installed the two OSes in separated disk partitions ? It will work better that way. Its one of the hard drives MAxtor ? Maxtor and SP1 for Win2k do not work right they lose and corrupt data. Your motherboard its Intel chipset or VIA ? Do you use the lastest Intel UltraDMA drivers ?

Its more plausible that is the memory thing. Try getting a single 128Mbytes SDRAM PC133 stick. (The PC133/PC100 just in case you are overclocking). And if you are really sure that the Dual Celeron works cold and well together, try then a single cpu operation, and see whats happens.

If you have a cable modem, you must install the DHCP files with the add/remove programs, in control panel, click on the button "add remove windows components", and select "Management and monitoring tools", click on "details", check the "Simple Network Management Protocol". Hope this helps.

Hello everyone, I want some help in making a hard choice, I have tracked down this 3D cards at my local vendor, and those are: Asus V6800 Ge-Force 256 32MBytes AGP, Voodoo 3 3000 16MBytes AGP, ATI All in wonder 128 32MBytes AGP, Matrox G400 MAX 32Mbytes AGP, ATI RAGE Fury Pro 32Mbytes AGP, (Sorry ATI RAGE Fury MAXX 64Mbytes will not have any win2k drivers from ATI !!!!)., Savage 4 (this one seems no good), TNT and TNT2 are available but kinda oldie !!!. I will appreciate information like, drivers problems, performance, etc. No i have no access to other cards from here. Just in case you wonder. Thank you very much. Yours 'Puter... Are u still beign the admin ? Or u are a power user ? Check your access policy, maybe u exceeded to lock access to users. It happened to me once, i could not get to print, and if i tried to configure wont let me either... eh ehe too much paranoia with the lockdown....

Are they from the same batch/factory/date/country ? If not you are fried..... no real damage actually but is critical to have two identical cpu the most similar as possible for simmetric processing

Just try reinstalling Win2k, over the actual one, and it will place any missing files again in the disk. But this do not alter the registry so no need to reconfigure, either this can be good or bad for you i dont know. Good luck.

To cast out them you must check if your cd-rom has some button locked in a short circuit, the solution replace the little button in the printed board (with really accurate moves) or cut it off for ever. Switch the bad one with the another and leave the play button without the switch.
