    Dead Spanned Volume

I have a 1Tb spanned volume (5x 200gb) on a Windows 2003 server. Recently, one of the drives died. I still have access to the spanned volume but it is painfully slow and frequently freezes. If I take out the dead drive, Windows will not mount the volume. Is there anyway to take out the dead drive and force windows to mount the volume with the missing drive? Should I just cut my losses, backup what I can and wipe all the drives? Any suggestions are appreciated.

    Video Overlay problems in Win2K3

Yes, all directx video options are enabled
  3. Im running Windows Server 2003 and whenever I try to play movies divx/xvid/whatever all I get is either a grey screen or inverted colors in the movie. The only way Ive found to fix this is to use a media player that allows you to change the overlay from Overlay Mixer to Extended VMR9(DirectX9). I use ZoomPlayer wich allows me to do this but anything else that doesnt have this option only gives me a grey screen. Ive got full hardware acceleration on, latest nvidia drivers (I have a GeForce3 Ti500), and Directx9a installed. Any suggestions?
  4. Is there any way in XP/2003 Server to disable explorer from booting up? I kno win the 9x series you could edit an ini file. Any suggestions?

    Win2K won't save my settings!!!

Win2K Pro won't save any settings such as resolution, driver changes, or any options I change. I've installed all the updates and that doesn't help either. What could be the problem?
