Thinking about stickin this MX300 and going with a SB Live Platinum for my Windows 2000 box because of the nonexistant support for the MX300. I have a couple of questions before I buy. 1. Is there a differnce between the original SB Live! and the SB Live Platinum as far as the card itself is concerned ? (I know Plat. comes with the live drive) 2. How is your experience with the card and drivers in win2k ? Does CL have all options funtioning properly on the card ? (ie EAX support) 3. Does anyone know if CL plans on release a package like the Platinum except with live drive 2 ? TIA, Kuz

Wanted to mention one more thing. I am running a dual monitor system. Secondary video card is an ATI Rage 128. If I disable the second monitor/video card the game runs without a hitch. With the secondary desktop enabled SOF will give me an error stating it cannot initialize GL engine. Anyone got any idea on how to run the game with the monitors both on ? I know it was working on a previous install on this setup. I tried reverting back to previous update of SOF also with the same results.

Im getting the same thing dude, what are some of your system specs ? Im running a TNT2u with BX board, P3, and drivers 6.18 from nvidia on win2k.

Im getting this error for some reason after my last reformat and dont have a clue as to why...anyone have any experience with what may be going on ? have installed this 10 times before with no problems. Dont know what I could be doing differently. Thanks
