I'm sorry if someone else has posted a question like this. I have Win 2000 Pro on my machine, and when I go to LAN matches at my friend's place, the people with Win 95/98 either get prompted for a password when they look at my computer under Network Neighborhood or get told that it is an invalid network resource. I log into my computer as Administrator, I am only using TCP/IP as my network protocol (no others are installed) with a IP address assigned and under the directories I have shared everyone has access. What am I doing wrong? How can I set it up so everyone can view my computer without having to put a password in or getting prompted by a user name and password box?

MS will probably ditch the idea of bringing out SP2 when XP comes out. I hate the idea of such a good OS like W2K being replaced so quickly by another OS. NT was around for ages. ------------------

Is there a way to receive mail using Netscape Mail v.4.x through an Exchange Server (v. 5.5) or am I stuck with Outlook? Thanks

Is there a list of the system error codes in Win NT 4 server? I have a couple to look up (85 & 1314), and Microsoft's Knowledge Base and TechNet don't seem to be helping me. Thanks.

In the event viewer on Win NT 4 Server there is an error with a Win2000 Pro workstation saying that there is a Master Browser error, and may require an election. Is there a way to tell the server that it is the master browser or tell Win2000 Pro to stop conflicting?

Diablo 2 works fine under 2000 with LW3, however it seems to pause for a few seconds every hour or so. Has anyone else notice this?

I have installed LW 3 on my W2K box and wondering if the utils that come on the Win95/98 Liveware 3 CD will now work under W2K? Thanks.

Does anyone know whether Band in a Box v.8 works under 2000? I'm running a fairly new PIII system with a SBLive Optical sound card. Thanks.

How do you change a drive letter on a LS 120 drive. It says B drive at the moment but I want to say A drive, cos I just got rid of the 1.44mb drive. Disk manager can't view the drive and device manager can't change it, unlike in Win 98.

I've had no problems with HL under win2000, although I have to be in Administrator or a user with Administrator rights to play it. These are the specs I'm running. C533 192MB RAM 10.2GB HDD Viper 550 SB Live value
