Hmmm ... I ran the game just fine! I installed the game off the CD, installed the latest patch, and started it off without a hitch ... I have a V3 3000, maybe it has something to do with your TNT or something, I dunno, I had no problems!

Hey, I'm about to build a new system and would like a recommendation on a mother board that works well with Win2k and just works well in general. I'm going to be putting in an AMD Athlon 700 thru 850 (haven't decided on speed yet) and what's the difference between the T-Bird Socket A and the regular? I'm not planning on overclocking this cpu because I need this to last many many many years and I don't want to shorten its lifespan any ... Another thing I had a question about is I'm building this computer mainly for Digital editing .. I'm planning on getting firewire and using my digital video camera to edit and such, I was wondering what video card would be best for this as well? Thanks ... any recommendations and/or opinions will be welcomed -TB

Thx for that site ... as for the LW, I already have LW3 installed, when I installed it, it did the uninstall of what I had before, should I uninstall more thoroughly somehow or was that fine? I've been getting that error since I can remember ... that media detecting program runs fine ... Thanks for your help!

I am able to use AC3 ... always have! I'm using SBLive and Dxr3 decoder for my DVD ... also using PC-DVD to play my DVD's ... AC3 works fine, and even AC3 passthrough!

I have a Microsoft Sidewinder Precision Pro USB ... If anyone has the 4.0 software, PLEASE contact me! I would love to be able to program the stick again, no problems installing, as mentioned before, I just would like the software for it ... thank you!

Can't help ya, same problem here ... I noticed it happening tho after I reboot after I either install the drivers for my video card (V3) or after I install my DXR3 ... Can't remember which it happened after, but its there before I start installing other stuff ... Or was it after I installed my SB Live? LOL, anyways, I'm sure its a driver problem with something else, oh well ...

Well, my joystick isn't new, I've had it for a while, you'd think if other people can get the software when they get a new one, you'd be able to get it also ... is there anyone out there who can upload it somewhere so people like myself can download it and use it with win2k? I too am looking all over for Microsoft Game Profiler Software 4.0 ... I'm in need of it and saw it listed on the list, but can't find it anywhere!!!
