    Win2k + CUSL2 performance

I am getting REALLY bad disk performance with this setup in Win2k. My HDD is constantly getting thrashed, and everything is much more sluggish than expected. Anybody got this working on a decent performance level? ------------------

It's Win2k pro, and no, findfast is not running.

    Any other ideas? I'm sure there are a lot of people running this combo. ------------------ PIII 700e @ 1021mhz Asus CUSL2 256MB PC133 IBM 75GXP 30.0GB ATA100/7200RPM Geforce 2 GTS Pro

    Win2k + CUSL2 performance

Yes, I've tried that, as well as using some of the tweak guides from various websites, all to no avail. Seems strange to me because I used to have Win2k running on a 5400rpm Maxtor drive awhile back (albeit not on this system) and it ran extremely smooth. ------------------ PIII 700e @ 1021mhz Asus CUSL2 256MB PC133 IBM 75GXP 30.0GB ATA100/7200RPM Geforce 2 GTS Pro

Sys specs below. I should be running it quite smoothly, don't you agree? BTW, my Sandra HDD scores are like 10000 now, in Win98se they are over 24,000. ------------------ PIII 700e @ 1021mhz Asus CUSL2 256MB PC133 IBM 75GXP 30.0GB ATA100/7200RPM Geforce 2 GTS Pro

    Win2k and Geforce question..URGENT!!

I need someone to answer this question. I have an ABIT KA7 with the KX133 chipset and a Geforce DDR. After installing Win2k on a clean harddrive, I proceeded to install the Via 4in1 drivers (ver4.23) followed by the 5.32 drivers for the Geforce. DXDIAG and WCPUID both say that AGP is enabled, but in device manager, it says that my Geforce is located at PCI BUS 1. Someone I spoke with says that PCI BUS 1 = AGP. Is that true with the KX133 chipset? Any advice would be appreciated.
