This happened after I installed SP1 & IE 5.5 w/ ZoneAlarm Pro.. Whenever I click a link it opens a blank window but doesn't go to the link.. Any ideas on how to fix it?
-
Wohoooo!!! I finally fixed it. After downloading NeoPlanet, I reslized how much these "kiddie" browsers sucked (IE-5.5,5.01 is STILL the leader in speed and usability) So I decided to reinstall IE 5.5 (even though a 'microsoft' window didn't recommend it) And The problem is fixed now!! All the hyperlinks work and i finally downloded my precious weightlifting videos.. wohoo!
-
Thanx DFB, that answered my question too!

Deadcats, yeah ZoneAlarm Pro (IS the latest version

I know how everyone LOVES microsoft updates, but for God's Sake.. DONT INSTALL THIS HORRID version. My God It's Rigged with bugs

Who Is actually having the same "slow" startup problems Im having? I think I fixed it by taking out the two problems that SBLIVE! puts in. Once i disabled them my live drive didnt work though ;( Also DIABLO 2 is still choppy ;(

Dragon NAV2000 hangs on me too with a large # of files!!!!!!!!!

Guys, I retract my claim about 5.5.. Although I do see some small problems by changing to IE 5.5, the service pack really made everything stable. Windows 2000 w/ IE 5.5 & ServicePack 1 Rox!!!!!!!!!!!!

I would be REALLY pissed if SP1 disabled zone alarm if I was running it! I disabled zone alarm about 2-3 days ago because of lockup it was performing on my machine. ZoneAlarm 2.125 is awesome but buggy. When the bugs are fixed and the programs eats less system resources, woooowee that program will ROCK!!!!!!!!!!
-
DONT DO IT!!! It will screw up your entire virus protection program.. I know by experience.!!
