    Cant connect to laptop. Help

Yes it is. Ok here is an update. I got to this point. When I double click on the shared folder of the desktop from the Laptop I get this message: Enter Network Password You must supply a password to make this connection Resource: \\DESKTOP\MY DOCUMENTS and then there is a place for me to type a password. The only thing is I didnt set a password. When I set up the folder to make it shared, there wasn't even an option to make it password protected. Any suggestions ? Thanx for your help. Installing Windows2000 from formated hard drive ?

Thanx Guys for responding. When I try to boot from the CD I get the message "Disk boot error. Put a boot disk in and press enter." When I use the win98 boot disk and go to the cd and press setup, I get the message "Cannot run in DOS mode" I installed it over Win98 fine but I want to do a clean install. Any other suggestions ? Is there I boot disk of some kind I can use ? Thanx.
