Replicants

Has anyone else seen this? When playing Xcom interceptor under Win2K, some missions are destroy a probe or base. Only when getting there the probe is always at your 6'olock ( if stopping and turning around its still dead centre in your rear radar) The rest of the game runs fine... Some dodgy code routines! Anyone any ideas what might cause this or even how it might be fixed? (ITs definately a Win2K issue, others have tried with same config only with other OSs and Win2k)

I given up on any hope of being able to run games such as Ascendency under Win2k and I have installed Win98 on another partition. I have Win2k on disk 1 (all partitions are NTFS5) and Win98 on disk 2 first partition. I can got into the BIOS and tell it to boot from disk 2 but can I use the W2K bootloader to boot to 98?

Is it possible to set BUFFERS= in Windows 2000? Many DOS games check for it and refuse to install if its not 20 or more.

If only there was a patch to let DOS programs believe that there were buffers available...

It will accept FILES= but BUFFERS= get ignored!
