When i install ultra dma driver on my CUSL2, i lose my CD ROM, is there a solution? Thank you

hello, my 104s now have some probleme to read cd and DVD... i can heard it try to play the disc but now i often try it 5 or 6 time and stop and eject disc! i think it's an hardware problem, should i change it for a new one, or somebody has the solution to repair it (or clean it) with an easy soltution? If you met this problem, please HELP ME!!

is there somebody who knows a virus or a bug in millenium that make all your printed page replace by hearts and smiley???

I have installed intel ultra ata storage driver but now i can't see my ide cd rom... I see all my ide drive as SCSI drive but i have lost my cd rom what can i do?

How do you choose where to install the cd rom? On the motherboard?

Somebody dit meet the same probleme, now every applications in direct 3d don't work, for exemple, MIDTOWN MADNESS 2 dont detect my 3D hardware peripherique... I don't know if i had this problem before installing MIDTOWN, i discovered the probleme when i try to play with midtown. Yes i used to use NETMEETING.... But a friend had the same probleme this week end too....bizarre...no? To resolve i formated and reinstalled WINDOWS 2 K, but my friend resolved the probleme by reinstalled WINDOWS on WINDOWS... Now, i would like to understand what happened to make it never coming... My icons in Win2k desktop looks like 256 color mode. I am configured in 32 Bits colors i have switch on the "display icons with max colors " in my preferences. Who can tell me where is the boot manager when you have installed WINDOWS ME and WINDOWS 2000. (which file in windows me) Because now, i can't use my 2000 because the boot manager doesn't propose me my windows 2000 partition (because i used another hard disk to make something one)

I installed WINDOWS 2K after Windows 98 se, so every thing work good... Now i would like ton install WINDOWS ME at the place of WINDOWS98 se, i think if i do that, i will lose my dualboot and that i would use my windows 2000 anymore....Do you have a solution to keep my dual boot.
