Hi wondering if anyone seen the movie A.I. yet ? I loved the movie A.I. The story line , the speical effects , etc. It was such a cool movie. I may even go see it a 2nd time not sure yet. I give it i think a perfect 10 score. But i know everyone has totally different opinions. So if you loved it thats fine and if you hated it thats fine. thanks

If Windows XP is the best MS OS in history i still wouldnt touch it. I dont care if its better than 2000 or more stable. Which i dont think it will be. It is just as stable i bet but not any more stable than windows 2000. And the emulation mode i dont care about cause windows 2000 has that and plus if a game dont work in 2000 then i just wont play it. Thats fine. But like some people are saying Windows 2000 to Windows XP is like windows 98 to windows 98 SE. I dont care about the new GUI , i dont care about system restore or any of those other programs built in to it. I mean hey if you use Windows XP thats cool but i suggestion people not too because win2k is good enough. Thanks

Ultrix what if it isnt fixed? I heard of some strange things happen on Office XP while someone on a plane the product activation just went off and said you needed the cd and call MS.

Ultrix wow i hope not going to windows xp and staying with win2k pro which i am on now is the right choice i am making. So far it seems like it. What if you were on a plane and that happen. That wouldnt be too much fun I cant wait to hear what happens when someone changes their ram , Hard drive , mobo , power supply , processor , etc i really want to know what will happen. lol if you change one of your cooling fans in the computer watch product activation go off. I wouldnt be suprised. And plus i bet it has bugs in it even on the final version of windows xp which means maybe it will be buggy and go off for no reason That would be so bad to happen on a business trip , or kind of trip which you need your laptop. But for now i will stay on win2k pro and read everything that happens with that dum product activation. I am sure there will be a lot to read soon.

But in my opinion also i dont care if they are real or not. If they are real thats fine with me. If they are fake thats still fine with me. either way

Yep SHS i wouldnt be surprised if thats true. But in my opinion i have no idea if it is or not. I guess people will have to soon see.

i dont think i should buy a SBlive i was told for my abit KT7A raid mobo because it could cause cracking sound so i am getting a different sound card. i was going to get a SBlive at first till i found out about how problematic they are for a lot of people.

I am curious what linux yall think is the best to try. I have done alittle linux but not like a whole lot. Just alittle on my computer where i finally installed a program , etc hehe. It was on redhat 6.1 if i remember right but forgot. thinking about just going to slackware 7.1 because you got to learn hard linux sooner or later i would think. Any help would be appreicated thank you

i am wondering if there is any soundcard out there that works well in win2k , has very good win2k support with drivers updated a lot , not any issues like the sb live with *cracking* , good qaulity sound in games and music , not full of extras when you install the drivers like sb lives , will not have issues with DX 8.0 or future DXs and will work with all games ok.

why in the world wont you beable to use the other drivers , software , games , hardware, etc of windows xp on win2k ? why only graphic drivers? thanks

Hi everyone i am on win2k pro right now and wondering if its worth going to Windows XP. So far what i heard and seen its ok. But not really that much worth it. Even thou my hardware is enough with my duron 800mhz , 256 mb of ram maybe 512 mb of ram would be better for windows xp i think cause i am hearing its a ram hog. and i seen people say it can use 80 to 100 MB on bootup windows xp but maybe i am wrong. i know the fast user switching each user you have you should add 64 mb of ram to or something like that. I guess maybe with luna effect off it doesnt take as much ram. I really dont need that fast user switching anyway. And dont need the system restore , or cd burning software , etc Because i have that already but maybe that built in stuff is better than i think it is. Please tell me. And also tell me about the ram and processor is best for it. Windows xp home or windows xp pro. both really My thinking is i dont even got to go to windows xp because windows xp will help get support on more hardware, software , games , drivers, etc for win2k also because we use windows me software , games , hardware, drivers , etc on win98 or win95. or we use win98 software , games , hardware, drivers , etc on windows 95. i dont see why we cant use windows xp hardware, software , games , drivers, etc for win2k. What do yall think ? Maybe i should try the $10 thing from MS which i can download it or pay $20 and have download access and a cd. But the two thing i hate about windows xp is the product activation and ram use. But i guess they arent a problem. i just want to know what happens when someone upgrades their mobo and processor. Yep that is true. Cause then you be waiting and waiting and never buying. I think i am a gamer but sorta not a hardware gamer. But i have played Serious Sam on my voodoo 3 2000 pci on win2k pro. It wasnt bad at all. Didnt freeze up any to load something but just worked very smooth. Yeah i do here the GF2 MX is a good card. I was going to get a Kyro II till i heard all the compat. issues and low scores people got in benchmarking it themselfs. But the cool thing i like about Nvidia cards right now is that they got as good as win2k driver support as 98. Games in win2k run as fast as in 98 if not faster in 2000. But i know sometimes they do run alittle slower. Thanks for your help

but isnt there a video card coming out soon that will be better than th GF 3 and cheaper by nvidia? cause its cheaper to make. i heard there was. its the one in the xbox that will be selling soon

Sure it works with win2k very well and everything ? and has all the features like 98 in win2k both of them ? which one do you prefer or like better in win2k ? and which makes more updated drivers for win2k and has better tech support? thanks
