I have seven Dual and Quad Processor systems. After the
install process of Windows 2000 Standard Server, when you are told to reboot, the system hangs. I have determined that if you remove the second processor and install it works ok. The vendor is telling me that these systems will not run Win 2000. They say it is a BIOS issue or something and they can't or won't do anything about it. Can someone tell me if this is a true statement about the older Pentium Pro and PII Intel motherboards? These systems are two to three years old.
