n/m, ifound out how to fix it someone sent me this from another forum, not sure with one 1) Install latest Audigy drivers. 2) Lower the hardare acceleration on your soundcard with the slider so that it is one greater than being all the way to the left. 3) Start up Game Voice and run the test hardware thing. 4) It passes and you're done. 5) You will be able to go back and raise back up hardware acceleration now it is working now. i hope they fix this in the next fdriver updates

well everything workls except when i do the Sound Hardware Test Wizard inthe Voice Tab under the Sound and Audio Properties. When I run it it says my computer's sound hardware: Playback: SB Audidy Audio [FFE0] Recording: SB Audidy Audio [FFE0] then when i click next it says: Your sound hardware cannot play sounds . Contact your vendor for more information. WTF!?! I isntalled the drivers afromthre audigy cd and then updates the drivers from the sblive site. the sound works, in games, music..etc..just not the voice. well it acutally does if i unmute the mic, my voice is fine. My prob is I cannot use the mic for voice in games, for example half-life. what is going on?

okay here is my setup 2 win2k machines sharing the internet thru a router, both filesharing. i also have netbui installed on both. DHCP are enabled on both. in the wins section there is setting Enable netbios over tcp/ip Disable netbios over tcp/ip Enable netbios from the DCHP server do i disable this? i remeber when i was on win98se, i followed the www.grc.com instructions to disable netbios by binding filesharing on netbui and disabling it on the TCP/IP. so in the win2k setup, do i disable it too? and should i have netbui installed on win2k?
