Hey im trying to get this webcam to work but whatever streaming software I try it says it cant initialize Microsoft WDM Image Capture device. I went to control panel/multimedia/hardware/Video Capture Device but I dont have anything installed there. any idea whatsup? the weird part is that the cam works from within Photoshop, i just went to File/Import and the cam is there, but other software like RealProducer or WebCam32 asks looks for WDM Image Capture device, it cant find one (this is on win2k, the cam is USB)

Has anyone been able to get the kodak dc260 digital camera working on win2k through USB? I tried installing the NT drivers kodak provides but had no luck getting them to work under win2k. Any ideas?

Hey, I was having a problem with my system dying when I tried to do something memory/cpu intensive while PS5.5/6.0 were running, I also have 256 megs of ram which suprised me that I would be having memory problems. My system hanged each time, someone on IRC suggested that the default memory usage settings for PS are too high. By default PS is set to use 50% of your memory, I bumped it down to 25% and now it works perfectly. Try it, it might be whats messing it up. Hey I have a scsi yamaha 4x2x6 burner and I don't know if this thing is messed up. My friends ide HP 8x4x32 can erase a cdrw in just under 1 minute using the quick mode, on my yamaha it takes almost an hour with using the same erase mode. Any ideas whats wrong? Or is this normal. Both quick and full erase modes take the same amount of time, around 40-50 minutes

I just noticed that right after i installed the new detonator3 drivers devldr32.exe crashes every time i start a new app, this is very annoying ..has anyone else been having this problem? Maybe someone has a solution..? SB Live! Value Viper770ultra (TNT2u)

Hey im looking to buy a new monitor, this old Acer 15" is getting smaller with each passing day, and after 5 years of serving the screen seems to have darker/lighter areas. Im looking at couple 19" inch ones, KDS VS-190 ..its the cheapest one I could find, it sells for $383 (canadian money and also at the Acer 99sl wich costs $100 more then the KDS one. I want to know if its worth spending $100 more and getting the Acer one or saving it and getting the KDS one.
