I have a Winfast Geforce 2 GTS 64 MB card and in most games it kicks butt. But some games look as if im running a voodoo 1 so i am forced to go to win98 with better results but still not satisfying. Anybody else ever have this problem. I get scores in the low 4000's on 3dmark so im not complaining there. ive tried many different detonators all with the same problems. any clue what this could be? I dont do any overclocking. Games running very well: Quake 3, UT, Half Life, MDK, Need 4 Speed 5. Games Running very poorly: Crimson Skies, Insane. Oh an i have already applied the windows 2000 hotfix, the windows 2k\Nvidia reg file, and the via 4 in 1 drivers dont seem to like my system so i havent put those back on.

Well mine works fine on my Athlon 700+64 MB GTS and 160 MB RAM...I get 60 FPS average at 1600X1200. When i press spacebar it goes straight to the reg screen, it should'nt be restarting your comp...although ive froze a couple times when letting it run in the background.

hey yearout is right man, ive also got the acoustic edge and there is not one problem here. the only thing im missing in win2k compared to win98 is 3d expansion sound for dvds with 2 speakers. but if you are running this card with 2 speakers anyway you are nuts. the card rocks....get it

Just wanted to know what you guys think is better, the old athlons or the duron. Another question i have is if ddr ram is better than rambus. ive heard so many different views on it i want to see what the win2k guys think. thanks, .~j0Os~.

Well I just bought this card and I have to say it has been awsome on Win2k. What I would like to do with it is record some shows to my hard drive(seinfeld, simpsons etc...), and then compress the files so i can put a couple shows on a cd(hopefully in divx format), because without compression the avi that it makes for a half hour is like 600MB. I have recorded shows without any problems but i am having trouble compressing the avi file because it is in PIM1 format(whatever that is). does anyone have a clue as to compressing this file to another format?

I have been looking all over for Windows 2K drivers for this modem. Does anybody know if they exist...i looked on this site but didnt find anything about the compatibility of the modem with win 2k. Is it compatible and if so where can i get the drivers? thanks.

Just go to www.freedownloads.com. I got them both there. Windowblinds is a cool little program that worked with win2k perfectly. windowsFX was also pretty cool but the trasperent stuff really takes a toll on your system. .~j0Os~.

Well i use an app called binchunker...its an old application that i heard is now integrated with fireburner. Hopefully this answers your question. .~j0Os~.

Actually I thought I was the only one. The worst part though is that rebooting doesnt solve my problem...i have to reinstall the sound drivers...what a hassle!!! .~j0Os~.

I own an Intel USB Camera 3 and when installing it in Win ME it works perfectly fine. I plug it in, Me installs the drivers and i goto My computer or control panel and cameras and scanners and a little icon is there for me to click on and the picture pops up. Now when trying this in Win 2k it seems to work....drivers are installed by 2k and everything. But when i try to use it there is no where to start the camera like in ME. Does anyone know how to get the video feed to work? .~j0Os~.

This site says that this certain burner is compatible with win2k. I tried to install the programs and drivers that came with the burner and i got an error and they dont install. I am a Nero user and i want to know if there is anything i can do to get Nero to work with my machine and if you guys know of a site to download any new drivers or firmware....or even if anyone else is having this problem.
