The only real flaw is that Microsoft did not grease the senators with enough money! Otherwise they would have approved the deal.

One thing I noticed is that w2k sp2 does not update the drivers that the original W2k version or sp1 installed. Is there a command that will instruct SP2 to search and installed all up to date drivers within the OS? Thanks in advance...

The main problem is the VIA 4-1 drivers...they do not work. If it's easy I would recommend you format and start over and NOT install the 4-1 drivers. I would recommend installing the MS hotfix ATA 100 driver and the most recent driver from http://www.viahardware.com/memoryenable.shtm Also in your Bios you may want to disable the following and see if there is any improvement for you. APCI in power mgmt Video bios caching Video Ram shadow The main problem currently is the "CPU to APG controller" located in the device manager. This is what is causing the sudden lag. The 504 driver does not work. You can reinstall the MS driver by slecting update driver/next/known drivers and select the other driver listed. Hope this helps and does not confuse you.
