Hi i have had a dxr3 working in windows 2000 for ages using the sigma designs drivers. I come to load it up to watch a dvd and i get an error (cant remember exactly), so i remove the driver and app, and try to reinstall it, windows finds it and installs drivers, then when i try to install the application (sigma)it comes up with an error before istalling saying "An instance of the driver may allready be in use" then if i click on ok it comes up with another error "You must have a valid driver prior to install the applications". well i thought, so i tried the creative drivers and app (beta) and i get the error: "card is not detected or driver is not loaded. Please ensure the card is properly installed before running this setup." Anyone any ideas it has me stumped. Thanks Tom

I have installed max payne and the 1.01 patch and it still quits out loading a level with a xp error report, what can i do? i have a geforce 3, win xp rc2, athlon 1100. Tom

Try the new 23.11 drivers they sorted it for me. Tom

Cryodude - yeah it also happens on gf3s i have a elsa 920 and i only get it with the 22.* series of drivers. the problem doesnt happen any other time. Tom

I installed these a couple of days ago, didnt notice much difference, it was meant to install a new cpu driver (athlon) but i had to do i t manually other than that no dif. Tom

Try running in 800x600 that tnt2 is gunna strain with modern games. Tom

I had a tnt2ultra then i went to a geforce 3 just installed the new det xp's and wow what a speed boost. get them! Tom

i think the new version is 2400 or something like that, the old version is 2535. Tom

FatFish: are u sure the drivers are actually installed, because mine downloaded fine and said they installed fine but when I checked the version number in system properties it hadnt installed the new versions! Is there a link where we can get these new drivers from? Tom

I tried all the different compatibility modes and everyone crashed out at the same time with the same consequences. Am i doing it wrong i just right clicked on the shortcut (tried the exe as well) and changed it there, should i be doing anything else. Tom

they work for me i used v2.2beta with a modded setup.ics file for the application, drivers dont need any modding. Tom

as i am not using a legitimate copy of windows xp, is it ok to send error reports? I would like to help with the progress of the OS. Thanks Tom

ok i have tried every build from 2481 (i am on rc1 now), each thime i boot my pc with a network card in i get a blue screen saying irq less than or equal and then listing ndis.sys as the culprit. I have tried 3 different network cards all having the same error. Now i can get into windows but every time i try to install the driver it then has this blue screen. Please someone help. and can someone tell me if they have a netgear fa312 or other working in xp. Thanks Alot Tom

hi everyone, due to a reformat i lost all my giants saves, now i am going through it all again, but i have noticed that i am missing that small "machine" type gun i think it should be about the 3rd you get, all i have at the mo is a sniper, rocket launcher type thing and the laser. could anyone tell me where you get it so i can go back (using the saves).
