I tried to install win XP onto a brand new computer with Asus A7V333 a Creative GeForce 4400 and a 12gb HDD on the RAID controller. I used the drivers disc as I did with my own computer with the same hardware. But as soon as windows goes into the 2nd installation phase (graphical user interface) I get an error message telling me that modules cannot be installed. Windows tells me that this is a critical error and installation cannot continue. I tired differnet WindowsXP CDs and also used the HDD on the regular controller. I used a differnt CDROM driver and also changed the HDD. I pulled out all the card, changed the position of the RAM and updated the bios.... nothing works. ANY SUGGESTIONS ???

RC2 does lock up on my while installing and checking the hardware configuration. Does anyone have a post RC2 build or access to it ? Thank you

Is there any way to get Need for Speed running with Windows XP build 2781 ? I always get a directX error (some "termination" is written in the window name line) which says that DirectX 0 is installed and DirectX 7 is needed. Any suggestions ? Thank you !

I used to get my scanner working with all other build. but with this 2781 build the system keeps recognizing the scanner itself and won't let the UMAX drivers work ! Please help

Hi, I support a company that uses a HP 4100 N laser printer. They have two kinds of paper, 1st the paper with the company logo on it and just blank plain paper. The 4100N can be used with two cassetts of paper installed at once. Is there a possibility to create 2 printer buttons within Word + Excel or even other application to choose the kind of paper without the need of going through all the menues and changing it ? Can I use a DLL file ? Or command line options ? Thank for any support

XP has build in recording software. That's why it opens the burner-folder when you put in a blanc disc...

I tried everything to get this sucker working wiht Whistler. Even the W2k users got problems with this scanner.... Hopefully someone is able to help me....

I seem not to be able to use detos beyond 6.34 without getting flickering and lock-ups. Does anyone have a fix ?
