Unexpected

Here is my system: MSI 694D Via motherboard (dual) 2x PIII 700 SBlive! Adaptec 2940UW controller Guillemot Hercules 3D PRohet II 64MB Geforce GTS DLink NIC Ovislink NIC IBM 34GB harddrive I know it worked before .. could it be cause I am using a Hercules GTS ?

I got the Soundblaster Live! Platinum soundcard. I downloaded the Liveware / drvers from Creative but when I try to install them they say that there is no Soundblaster Live detected in my system ... sound works ok cause Win2K installs drivers of its own but I need the Liveware stuff cause I want to use the LivedriveII to connect my speakers digitally ... it works perfectly on Millennium ...
