Hi There, just wondering...how do I enable the Defragmentation Tools on NT4? Is it located inside the NT4 Resource Kit or else? Thanks for your help! regards, Mugen C ------------------ Dream what you want to dream; go where you want to go; be what you want to be, because you have only one life and one chance to do all the things you want to do!

Wow! Someone rated my thread with 5 Stars! I am so excited..... Anyway, I went to MS website and they said there's no built-in tool for defrag. with NT4. I have to use third-party s/w. But isn't it strange that they(MS) actually placed the "Defrag button" inside the tools tab?;( regards, Mugen C ------------------ Dream what you want to dream; go where you want to go; be what you want to be, because you have only one life and one chance to do all the things you want to do!

Hi There, thanks for all your help...after changing the registry that you mentioned above, I was able to launch the game after an error message(Clicked Ok to ignore it), However, I guess may be my video card is not an High-end one...ATI Xpert 98 8mb(kinda bad actually! ), the monitor keeps flicking on every single screens. Is that mean my Video Card does not support D3D or just a driver problem?? On the other hand, is it normal that..after applying those patches, it will jump to the Network Gaming Mode by default?(hope you know what I mean!) Thanks for your advices! regards, Mugen C ------------------ Dream what you want to dream; go where you want to go; be what you want to be, because you have only one life and one chance to do all the things you want to do!

Hi there, I am a newbie to this board & the NT World. Hope all of you can bare with my "Junior" question... Anyway, here is my question. Is it possible to have my W2KPRO become a domain member of two Domains without reconfigure it every single time? For example, when I'm on the logon screen, my drop down menu will list out all the domains that I have in the office, so I can select it. Thanks so much for your help! regards, Mugen C ------------------ Dream what you want to dream; go where you want to go; be what you want to be, because you have only one life and one chance to do all the things you want to do!

Hi There, I keep getting the following error inside the application log after the reboot. The same error had occured on both W2KPro and NT4 Server. Any Idea? Here is the log: The description for Event ID ( 1001 ) in Source ( SQLCTR70 ) cannot be found. The local computer may not have the necessary registry information or message DLL files to display messages from a remote computer. The following information is part of the event: Cannot open the Registry Key..
