I am looking for a good scanner to scan legal and letter sized docs. Money really is not an issue, just quality and compatibility.
-
Doesn't look like it does legal but thanks, I found another HP that does.
-
Thank you I will try that. The boxed is checked already so i will uncheck it and see what happens.

Turn your Vsync on and set your refresh to 60Hz if possible.

You only have 135MB Free on a 45GB? That is the problem right there if that is the case...
-
Then I would place money on the NIC going bad. Checked the cable did you? Tried a different port on the router?
-
Power off the router, wait 30 seconds and power it back on. Do this with the problem machine powered off and unplugged.

Is this client side?

How do you perm. remove network shares?

They keep reappearing when the computer is rebooted. I cannot stop the service as this is an office Server and must have shared resources. -
I am using Windows 2000 Server and Windows XP clients. I need the XP clients to be able to remotely access the data on the Windows 2000 Server. The server has it's own IP address, static. What are the steps to successfully setup a VPN on the server and clients? What are the drawbacks in doing this? Help.
-
Ok i am using just basic VPN, pptp, no firewall, and static IP address for host. It then gives the connecting client a 192.168..series to match the office network. So far clients can connect and use shares. But they complain of losing their internet connecting while connected to the VPN host. How do I fix this or is there a fix?
-
where do you check that?
-
I am doing a VPN as well and would like to know: How the clients can maintain internet access while connected to the VPN host. They complain of losing the ability to browse pages, check email and chat when connected to the VPN server. They are connecting through DSL, T1 and Cable ISPs.

Feral is a local rock band in Phoenix, AZ. They have put up a great forum, similar to this one, http://www.feralkills.com/forums/ . The daily rant allows you to go on about whatever the heck is bothering you. You are allowed to swear, make [censored]xual comments etc., Just no racism. Check it http://www.feralkills.com/forums/ All the mods are computer geeks like all of us.

have you tried booting into console mode and deleting through command prompt? -
At one of the offices I take care of there are 2 XP machines, 1 W2K machine and 6 or so 9.x machines. The NT5.0 machine is the server, so to speak. Whenever I map a drive from one of the XP machines to the 2000 machine XP doesn't remember the login and always puts a red X on the network drive until I click on it and login into it. The when i restart it starts all over again. The user account information on the XP machines are the same as the accounts listed on the 2000 machine. So why is it not automatically logging into the share? I don't have this problem on any other mixed offices. Usually if the username and password matches on both machines there is NO additional login required, what am I missing?

I always disable that service. Never had any problems, what problems are you facing that require you to re-enable that service?

I have seen this coming into Windows desktop but not much else seems to be effected. Seems to run a bit better since SP3. -
Yeah but free, or a registry hack.

It is very nice not to have to spend money on a movie you might not like. If you don't like T3 are they going to refund your money? No. I will still go see it in the theatre, as i agree that a movie like that is well worth the theatrical experience. I just now know it's not a waste of money. I live in the ghetto and can't help these fools trying to make money on this sh^t. If someone gave you a good quality copy of Matrix 3, for free, would you watch it? Or let's say Star Wars Episode 3? I make indy movies in my spare time and watching new stuff is more so research for me, I don't make copies of the movie, even for myself. Just watch and hand it back.
